I prepare chai in the microwave. Mine is like regular chai, but without the black tea to accommodate my blood pressure issue. I use a microwave-safe glass tea pot (1.5 l) with a glass filter. In the glass filter, I add four cardamom seeds, a tablespoon of fennel seeds, half a Ceylon cinnamon stick, two cloves, one star anise seed, a pinch of saffron, and a few slices of fresh ginger. I fill the pot with boiling water, place a saucer on the top as a cover, and place the pot in the microwave at 400W for 6 minutes. As I pour the chai in my cup, I add sugar-free condensed milk, though any type of milk will do. When I reheat the singular cups, I add the milk into the cup before I reheat. Within a 24-hour period, I can get up to three uses out of the mixture. Then it is time for a new one.😉

Sirs , content creator, when you serve tea you should always have a small bowl of sugar and a small pitcher of cream, or milk. This is so that the person drinking the tea may prepare it to their liking, of how they want their tea to taste. Don't forget the small tea spoon so thar they may stir their tea. Hey I'm British, the last thing which Mr Rana said about drinking tea while watching the rain outside is pretty much the perfect scenario for it! In the UK, a cup of tea is a great comfort drink. If you want people to feel like they can hang out for a while, present some biscuits (Digestive or something more fancy), but people frequently have a quick cup of tea while on a break from work or something. It's not particularly common for people to drink it without at least a small amount of milk and/or sugar, but usually, if someone is making tea for several people, they ask if they want milk and sugar, or bring the milk and sugar for people to make it how they want it. I'm happy to see that these guys like tea as much as we do! It is a fantastic drink! Also I think that adding cumin to Digestive biscuits could be a bit of a game changer.

I can't decide who had the best line because they all said something either hilarious or profound; or both. Mr Chaudhary at 5:59 "English tea with English biscuits! And tribal guy..." Mr Tahir making wheels out of the biscuits was adorable but the most romantic, wistful and pretty words go to Mr Rana at 8:28 "Imagine eating this biscuit and seeing rain from the window pane. That will be poetic scenery." Indeed dear fellow, one of life's pleasures was to sit indoors on a wintery, raining day with the fire going and a pot of English breakfast tea and a biscuit or Earl Grey Tea with toast and bitter orange marmalade. Absolutely comforting. Like a warm hug from one's mother. PS: You must try Earl Grey Tea. At least, if you aren't on medication that interfers with grapefruit, as Earl Grey has the same enzyme in it as grapefruit. But if you are able, I cannot recommend Earl Grey Tea enough. It is a sensual delight. If you're daring then Lapsang Souchong is amazing in the morning with bacon on toast for breakfast.

Have you tried Tetley, PG Tips, or Yorkshire Tea? Twinings is the 'posh' tea (and a very old company) but most of us Native Brits prefer one of these cheaper 3, or superior non-branded supermarket offerings. But we take our tea with milk and like as not sugar (and Indian chai is mostly milk, stewed tea dust and comes heavily sugared) whereas I think you prefer it black, with lemon, and probably unsweet?

@cargumdeu I did have the PG Tips in Ireland when we were there and I enjoyed it very much, but it's far more difficult to find here in the states than the Twinings. You can find Twinings in just about every major grocery chain, but if you wanted the PG Tips you'd have to scout around and try to find a specialty import shop that carries it. I think I've only seen it once when we were on a beach vacation in Maine. There was a little shop that sold imported goodies from the UK and they had maybe 3 little boxes of "travel/sample sized" teas that included a couple of PGT sachets. I did drink my hot tea black, no sugar, no lemon for years, but again, the trip abroad changed that. LOL We stayed mostly in B&Bs and tea was always served with milk/cream and sugar on the tray. I decided to give it a go and it stuck! I've taken my hot tea with a little half & half cream and a spoonful of sugar ever since. (I also got hooked on McVities digestive biscuits!) HaHa 😊

The bisquits you linked to are American style biscuits made from flour, shortening, salt and buttermilk. They come as raw dough and have to be baked in an oven. They have no sugar so are completely savory. They are eaten with gravy, butter and jam or honey, usually for breakfast. English biscuits are crisp baked cookies and are sweet and flavored with vanilla or chocolate or lemon, etc.

I was worried about how they might react to the tea ☕seeing as it would be different from theirs, but they seemed to enjoy it...and the biscuits. 🍪 I love these guys! 💖👍😊

At the moment I’m enjoying “Darjeeling” tea from West Bengal with a little sugar and a splash of milk. I do enjoy enjoy other blends which are available here such as; Assam, Earl Grey (flavoured with Bergamot oil) and Lady Grey (flavoured with Bergamot oil, lemon and orange peel).

My mum's originally from Punjab and these are her favourite biscuits to have with tea. She loves a cake rusk too :) Rana sahib is right about tea and biscuits on a rainy day, and we get a lot of them here! Maybe they could try bubble tea, it's so different. Love you guys.

I have Twinings loose leaf tea in tins (from World Market); English Breakfast and Earl Grey. English Breakfast in the morning and Earl Grey in the afternoon. Along with McVitties Digestive Biscuits, of course!!! I live in Missoula, Montana but did live in New Zealand for almost 30 years. Hence the tea habit.

Fun video! Thank you! Gotta say, though at 4:52 -- I'm afraid Gul Sher Khan's assertions that Westerners drink sugar-free tea are incorrect. Did you not provide sugar and/or milk at all for this video? The best way to make English tea is to do it "builder's tea" style: English Breakfast tea brewed until it's dark umber, two to three sugars per cup, then add enough milk to turn it the exact colour of He-Man from the 1980s cartoon. 😉 I wonder how these taste-testers would feel about American tea drinks, like peach iced tea, or Southern sweet tea . . . ?

Twinings Prince of Wales tea is my go-to cuppa, sometimes Yorkshire gold (but with plenty of sugar and milk) and the occasional Lapsang Souchong. That would be an interesting tea for them to try. I must say that the chai I get at an Indian restaurant in the city is by far my favorite. I wonder how different it is to the tea these delightful gentlemen drink?

I imagine people in Pakistan typically have spiced tea? I'd love to know more about their tea culture. There is plenty of great tea to recommend. One suggestion is to try Darjeeling black tea (loose leaf preferable) that should be drunk pure without milk or sugar.

In Pakistan tea culture changes according to region...for example in Punjab and Sindh province most popular are "milk tea"(that purely contain milk without water)."karak tea"(Strong tea),"masala tea/spice tea"(that includes various kinds of spices)...however in peshawar and north-west areas of Pakistan...people drink "kehwa", "Tamura"...these are kind of herbal tea which is mostly popular in these regions... And about Darjeeling black tea...I haven't heard about it..
