Dark Chocolate (more cacao, less milk / sugar, etc.) is definitely an acquired taste, especially the higher the percentage you go of cacao... Personally, I enjoy some good dark chocolate. Though, yes, as you go higher and higher it gets a bit more bitter and less palatable, better for baking or using in other products, but not so much for just casual eating.

You should tell them about the history of chocolate(especially "Dr.Tahir), because originally before the Europeans came to the Americas(North and South) Chocolate was used as medicine and celebratory drink for warriors. It was often mixed with spices and served hot- similar to hot chocolate, and was valued and very high prices until the mid-late 1800's. Not only that, but only 20 countries in the world and grow and mass produce cacao(chocolate pods) and it is still valued today and one of the most common "luxuries" today.

@@Ajs00 Yup I really, really like chocolate, as does my family to the point my uncle became a chemist and studied chocoate for over 20 years, hershies asked him to become a board member and he then wrote a book. So if you cant tell, its pretty popular for us.

@@thesweetlemon1179 Wow! thats amazing. I visited parts of mexico and peru and chocolate is a part of their diet. The indigenous love it, they consume it raw mosty or in a paste form. America has destroyed the concept of chocolates. With all the sugar and milk, it loses its true power. Its a super super food.

Chocolate was originally drunk by the Aztecs before it was ever made into a solid form. You should get them some Mexican hot chocolate with chili in it, its great!

Most of what they tried is NOT our American versions. Most is crap, and they are being mislead. The American breakfast was a disaster! Nothing like what our real breakfast restaurants or home serves.

Please tell him that when you are sitting down with a cat on your lap, be sure to pet them and give them little scratches under their chin to make them purr. Ah, I would watch these fine fellows read from the phone book....or a dictionary. They are so delightful! (For those of you under 30- it was a book, usually yellow in colour, listing all the telephone numbers, names and addresses of private people and businesses in a given area, delivered to your door once a year, by the landline phone company. Also known as the "yellow pages" if a business listing was sought. Great for stacking on a chair at the table gor little kids to perch on.) 😆😆 Anyway, love this channel to bits. ❤❤❤❤ from 🇨🇦

The original name is Ovomaltine. But the company exports it under the name "Ovaltine" to make it easier to pronounce for foreigners. As far as I know the original doesn't contain any sugar, while both versions contain mostly malt.

Ovomaltine is the original name, apparently. But it's typically just marketed as Ovaltine in the US, and many other places, since it's easier and sounds maybe less, I dunno, medicinal / technical, or whatever.

That first one is not chocolate milk. There isn't even any chocolate in it. It's a malt drink derived from malted barley. It has a "chocolatey" flavor due to how the grains were toasted, partially caramelizing some of the malt. You can get it with chocolate added, but this is just original flavor. True chocolate milk should at least use chocolate syrup and not malt powder.

There is 13% cocoa powder in Ovomaltine. Ovaltine contains 8% cocoa powder.

Here in my state in the U.S we have what we call coffee milk. Its a syrup like a chocolate sundae sauce but it is coffe flavored. It is our state drink should try that
