Here's an idea. Although these guys are most familiar with roti, I assume they eat basmati rice as well? Each culture eats its own type of rice, and other types seem strange to a rice-eater. It would be interesting to have a video where they react to different types of rice. You could have Lao sticky rice, Thai Jasmine rice, Japanese sushi rice, brown rice etc.

I feel like videos like these are so important to the West. I think a lot of people who hold racist or xenophobic views do so because they can’t understand or communicate with these people from other countries, so they seem different and alien. That, of course, isn’t acceptable, but I do think that’s how a lot of people feel. Videos like this show that these people are no different to us. They’re joking, they have banter with each other, they have their likes and dislikes, they care about impressing their friends, they’re interested in having new experiences. They simply just talk a different language. They are people just like us. I hate that people feel that way, but I do think that’s what it comes down to. Systemic racism always comes from dehumanisation of minorities, and videos like this go a long way to rehumanising them. They should never have to prove themselves to us, in order to be treated with respect, but until we live in a perfect world where everybody is kind to one another, I’m glad channels like this exist, to break down the communication barrier, and show us just how alike we all are.

When I bought my house, I put a fondue pot on my housewarming gift list. Such a fun way to enjoy a meal with guests! In addition to cheese, I love a good spiced broth fondue with vegetables to dip. Kids like it because they cook it themselves and I like it because they are eating vegetables.

It’s beautiful to hear how kind they are to their guests. Would love to see who’s related to who. I have an idea of which kids go with which adults but would love to know for sure.
