I love samosas and pani puri especially, and the crispness sounded like a perfect fry. I'm envious! I'm also a sucker for a mango lassi. Yum! I do wonder, though, why you continue to serve Mama new food that isn't "pure", give his usual attitude. I hope that someone else eats it so it doesn't go to waste. The others have such a wonderful open approach.

Although you're correct, many of these dishes originated in Northern India, Fuchka (panipuri) and Pakode for example, originate mainly from Bihar and UP although they are enjoyed all across the subcontinent

A lot of culture across the region has traveled and mixed between Turkiye, Persia, India, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Russia throughout history, because of trade and large empires (Mughal, Ottoman, Mongol). Some great examples are foods like Kofta (Kofteh), Pulao (Pilaaf, Plov), Halwa (Helvah, Halva), Kabaab (Kebab) etc.

I had to come see if mama actually eats anything. He doesnt like mixed food. ❤❤. Omg that shot of the woman laughing that bite out of her mouth like a volcano made me do the same thing with my coffee. Only she mouth was facing up and mine was facing forward. Someone needs to come scrub this coffee stain off of my wall. I cant get it off.

At my university in Montreal, student societies sell samosas to raise money. They get a huge box of them and then sell them 1 for $2 or 2 for $3 wrapped in newspaper. However, we had to stop because a health inspector came and said it was unsanitary, and I don't know if they are allowed to sell samosas anymore.

Malaysian here. Here Malaysia have samosa, but mostly I encountered are commercially made or factory made. Moreover, 5:43 I had to said that is the biggest samosa I ever saw. Like I said earlier, since the samosa sold here are mostly commercial, most are finger-bite sized.
