I don't know man. Vir Das feels way ahead of his time to me. Brilliant analogies and a witty sense of humour. I sometimes feel that a huge majority of audience that watches mediocre comedy shows of television won't understand his style. But again there's a sizable minority of people like us. This guy's a National treasure.

Actually the surname Das is found in a large number in kolkata but the thing is Das is also a native in assam and other northeast ares so maybe he thaught Vir is a bengali because his surname is Das. Lol. I am a pakistani and i think what he did in few mins was brilliant af. Don't know i get so less recommendations of this guy on RU-vid when i am following most of the major indian comedy content. All i get is bigboss videos and stuff and i am not even following it any more. You guys deserve this content instead of that shitty show.

Vir Das has basically gone up to the point where his whole show is supposed to make you feel and imbibe and put a smile on your face , a smile that finds a common ground somewhere between realization and appreciation and in between some quirky humour to lighten you up from the actualisation that has struck inside you .

Vir Das is so underrated that he can crack controversial jokes in a smart way, make you laugh and make 100% sense at the same time and still wont be covered by any news channel..cuz if news channels analyze his jokes then they will become famous comedians, but they dont want to be famous comedians they just want to tell the nation what they need to know.. Its in best interest of the media and politics that he is underrated ! Sad but true :) Loved the whole set ..life is a vicious circle :)
