There’s anime style a la Genshin or Fire Emblem in the character design, but there’s also 2D pixel art, 2.5D environments, 3D battle models that aren’t anime style, the cutscene designs, etc. It shifts its design style more than a Tarantino movie but that’s not a bad thing.

@@Defender1876 I know but still, Metroid Prime 4 is still in the works. They made an article about the original build being 90% done but they scrapped it and are starting over. Hopefully it's a banger for being so long. In the meantime, we got the original Metroid Remake on the 3DS and Metroid Dread so it shows they're interested This on the other hand just appeared then disappeared then reappeared. It looks fun but I'm still confused about why it got announced years ago to go silent then have an anime and go silent again

@@superbrightshinystuff3425 I expected the gameplay to be something fresh with the baseball stuff. We have plenty of action-esque already in mobile. And with the pixelized exploring you wont get to see the Rui's signature style that much (and giving me some sort of an art whiplash). But hey Im a sucker of his game so im still gonna give it a go

I absolutely hate the transition between sprites and 3D models. I think whiplash is a perfect way to describe it. The two styles are polar opposites, you can't just switch between the minimalist pixel art and the loud flashy 3D action every time you enter a battle. The tone and immersion will be lost every time, and it'll tire the players out quick I can guarantee it. Plus, now I'm just questioning why they can't do all 3D models. That's the style they use for cutscenes, almost everything already has a model because of the battle system, and they're super convenient to use. There's no reason the rest of the world can't be 3D. I think they're trying to be "artistic" but it's really lame. Edit: I was too distracted by it releasing on Steam and somehow only just realized this is a mobile game, so I guess that's why 3D is limited to battles. Still lame though, and now I'm definitely not getting it.

Honestly playing gacha wrong. Play them in the early/development phase. Don't use any of your pulls until you really need. And buy only beginner packages/1 dollar deals if you can. Edit: Or you can get in the mindset that you'll spend 30-60 dollars(or a price of an average game if you're enjoying it) and buy only deals.
