mothra is actually much more powerful than people think it is. due to the popularity of godzilla they never wanted mothra to still the spotlight. and its power is more apparent through its offspring in the mothra trilogy. the first one gave birth to a new mothra but it had a courageous heart yet it was a small baby. but there was much potential in this one. in the later movies it became the neo mothra, rainbow mothra, and aquatic mothra which looked like it was armored but its actually a secondary form of rainbow mothra which it got its powers from the temple. the mothra eventually became and took on the form of its mother mothra though the name usually goes by ultimate mothra. as for people saying it turned into a female. i highly doubt it. that would be weird.
Yes that is so true she actually comes from a race of moths called divine Moth and she is actually a goddess in the series. I love Mothra so much she is righteous and is very good at heart and she is probably my favorite kauju besides Godzilla.
Mothra Leo is Mothra's son, he has always been identified as male and as different from the original Mothra. He takes on all the alternate forms like Rainbow, Aqua, Lightspeed, and Eternal. Only the original Mothra is female.
Yes your right but also what if Mothra shared the same abilities as her son Leo and when they battle their own opponents they be a powerful force what do you think of that?
@PITTSTON2SARASOTA As big of a Godzilla fan i am, unless it was Burning Godzilla from Godzilla vs Destroyah. You are quite likely right...and I'd sell my entire Monster Movie collection just to See Eternal Mothra, Big G, and Gamera go at it!!
@Cloudrunner62........Don get me wrong....I like Godzilla too....I just think Mothra never gets due comments as a warrior and in Armored form....it would be quite the battle...Let's call TOHO.....LOL......
Can someone please tell me the name of the movie where there is a clip (sorry i only know this clip which is why i am asking) where Mothra is dying after being hit by a Godzilla blast and there is an egg which hatches twin larvae?
@mothrabattra bullshit, she didnt lay an egg in All out monsters attack or Godzilla vs Mothra 1992 which by your logic means she was at full power and she still got her as kicked. and bare bones mothra isnt nearly as powerful as ANY of the Leo transformations.

@mothrabattra acually eternal mothra is immortal you see anything that start with eternal is immortal and besides bare bones mothra defeated godzilla with battra help and therefore bare bones mothra sucks and eternal mothra rules and armor mothra defeated grand king ghirdora easily therefoe armor mothra can beat godzilla easily
Just because Armour Mothra easily defeated Grand King Ghidorah, doesn't mean it can easioy take on or defeat Godzilla. Godzilla is basically indestructible and immortal as well.
