Try fishing further back and away from the crowds. These spots can be very productive and will offer some more peace and quiet. Keep fishing until you find what they are biting on. Stay healthy, be kind to one another and be kind to yourself!

Another great video. I’ve always done really well with popping cork and shrimp for trout. I’ve found that they seem to be more off the bottom feeders. Had the pleasure of being invited on a blue fin tuna trip yesterday. Beautiful day started catching blue fish for bait and spent the day drifting. Hooked up with a shark and finally the tuna late in the day. Heart breaking when he broke off from tackle failure. Ton of boats and scattered tuna. Great experience and learned so stuff so I can go out next year in my 15 ft boat 😂.

The tug is the drug. Lol love it. Just to let you know I ended up with 9 black drum 18 to 23'', lots of sheep on the smaller side and lost a monster on a whole blue crab. Same place as your last video. Not sure how long their going to be there but I'm going again fri morning!

It is a lot of paddling to the creeks where motor boats cannot go, but if you love to paddle then it is worth it. Great video!

Thanks, yeah we had to scoot so we didn't get trapped when the tide fell out. Could have stayed if we were in a yak.

As for the old coast guard station on the southern end of radio island there is so many sheepshead. It is only about 7-9 ft deep depending on tide so you can see them with the eye but the onslaught of puffers destroys the bait before any sheepshead can get to it. I had walked the marsh on low tide on southern end of radio island public beach access, right before you step up to the old old guard landing. Found 50-60 good mud crabs and started to fish again caught 2 keeper sheep’s but a whole bucket of puffer still destroyed my mud crabs Any tips on how to either get the sheep’s to bite first or better bet to make the crabs stay on longer?

My best advice is to use bigger crabs but you really can't stop them. They are aggressive and can be pesky. I would recommend that you keep a pile of them, they are delicious.
