Easy. The MT09 wheelie control allows the wheel to come up but not too far :-)

That's normal I also avoid using QS from 1st to 2nd due to the hash change. Reason is that Yamaha states using QS over 2500k rpm so that's more or less at that range

Yes this is for many bikes. Using the qs from 1st to 2nd should be avoided. The reason it is so abrupt is because it has to go over neutral.

You need to keep WOT in order for the quick shifter to be smooth. That might be your problem.

Haha so true! Old fart like me even learned how to shift to second with quick shifter in wheelie. But I don’t feel I should disable lif control , as all my “pro” skills will disappear with it 😂

I think the best is to.learn the bike with out any assist. This way wont scare the shit out of you. I should have done that. Now i am scared to go back off

Foot under shifter and on brake confidence will come lift control on this bike is great

You can't, when u disable traction control it shuts that, your lif and your slide control off..

If you don't know about wheelies how can you tell this man he doesn't know about wheelies? And with an MT-09 all you need to know is hang tf on..

Keep riding I got 2500 on odometer and with lift control on and I keep it on I look like a pro. I weelied up to 180kmph I can keep it straight up

Yes it does. No matter how much throttle you give it - it will stay at 45 degrees max angle. But there is a trick I’ve discovered. Did practice unusual clutch wheelie ( clutch then gas not gas-clutch-gas as usual) and I was able to almost loop it. Scared the shit out of me.

@Moby yes it does what? You can definetly shut the lif all the way off and loop the bike if u aren't careful..

What bike do you have? The MT09 has heaps more torque than a 600 and will power wheelie in 1st with ease.

Idk what your talking about, I power wheelie mine all day, first and 2nd.. all wheelies are dangerous but that's why the thing has Lif control..
