I'm surprised Hobie hasn't brought back the TriFoiler production, since I would think it would be gaining popularity. That is with the Americas Cup race using large hydrofoil cameramans.
Outstanding. Curious about why you would ever want the full height sail if the reefed version is better on most counts. I can only assume that the full height sails are better in very low winds, say under 15MPH?
just as I started getting in to boats, I suddenly started getting how sailing works and spent about a day thinking about the physics and how to exploit them I came up with something that was almost the same as this. I spoke to other wind jockeys thy told me nice try mate but it would never work. ha!!!
