Trigun is one of those classic 90s anime that I never see people talk about, which makes me sad because I feel like it's kind of similar to Cowboy Bebop-and that's always in the conversation. Vash was one of my heroes as a teenager and I guess-now that I think about it-Meryl was probably my second anime waifu, after Kagome Higurashi.

I think it's because it's a bit slower to really get to the themes of the show, compared to bebop where the space noir is shown front and center within the first few minutes

Niiiice, I just finished Trigun like, 3 weeks ago, because I never finished it as a kid, an underrated classic anime/manga, I feel like. Love all the characters and allegories within the story, especially Vash and Wolfwood.

also the fight at the end is one of the best I've seen. minimal talking, pure emotions and so much depth in each character reacting to another.

Love the new Stampede theme just as much as the classic HT. But I think the OST in Stampede titled 'Vash The Stampede' is the most 90's trigun sounding of the whole new soundtrack & I love it!
