Trigun was written and illustrated by Yasuhiro Nightow and published by Dark Horse Comics. Trigun had an original run from 1995 to 1997.
Trigun had some difficult beginnings. The shonen manga magazine Monthly Shonen Captain was publishing Trigun’s original run, but unfortunately the magazine was discontinued and Trigun was put on hiatus. The original run of Trigun was published into 2 volumes and released by Dark Horse comics in north america in 2003 and 2004.

You are the first person I've seen that was actually not a fan of Maximun, I personally loved it, and the Manga is what made me love Vash the most. I watched Stampede, enjoyed it that much that I went to the 98 version and then the Manga. And Personally: Manga>>Stampede>>98 Version I mean, yeah, the manga can be chaotic to read and it can be hard to know who is talking, but you get use to it, and the Story and Characters make up for it.

I’d say about mid way through the manga I started to struggle with the story. Nearing the ending it was almost difficult to read simply because it was such a slog to get there only for it to have almost no payoff. I will stand my ground in the artistry tho. It is truly and simply amazing. Now on the topic of the 98 anime. It is very near and dear to my heart, but I totally understand where you are coming from it is pretty bad at times. I still need to watch stampede. Hopefully soon! Thanks for watching and commenting!!

Imma have to disagree with you. Ya it’s a bit difficult to figure out who’s talking and ya there’s a lull while fighting the guns ho guns but those fights are usually what triggers flashbacks which are great. Anyway I think trigun might be my fav manga I’ve read so far. Just hits in all the right ways to me. Also loved stampede and I hope they don’t censor it too much compared to the manga.

I still think Trigun is a fantastic series it just wasn’t as captivating as I thought it was going to be. The art is absolutely stunning and it is filled with some of the most amazingly illustrated action sequences. It just didn’t grab me and hold me like I thought it was going to. Hi..Brother, as you know that trigun is re-releasing in december, should I buy it or not ,also it is releasing in delux format ,according to you how many volume will be there for full story arc..??

Hello there! Thank you for commenting!! I do know they are releasing the deluxe editions and the first 2 volumes will be in the first edition of the deluxe volumes. The rest of the series if I recall correctly is 14 volumes and I believe they have 1 deluxe edition of Trigun Maximum available for pre order at the moment, but I’m going to guess it’s going to be 2 or 3 deluxe editions of Trigun Maximum. Is it worth pre ordering? Absolutely yes! Because trying to get your hands on the original print is not impossible, but very costly! And knowing Dark Horses history with the series they could go away very quickly and be very expensive! I would guess that Dark Hose wouldn’t cheap out on this publication and print the compete story in both versions of the deluxe edition! Thanks so much for watching!!!

I remember that night very well. I'm pretty sure we were recording a Stay Rad Podcast. Which episode specifically i'm not too sure, but I remember we were talking about Berserk on a little break from recording and you were ordering the volumes on your phone and I quote "Well I just spent $300 on comic books, but fuck it i'm drunk".

Great review 👏 👌 I lucked out and found the complete set for quite cheap and considered selling it but I'm too big of a fan to get rid if it even though they are all mint condition and I could use the money I'm holding on to them forever. Also because of the English voice actor Johnny bosch voices a bunch of my favorite characters
