I haven't been to Trinidad in 26 years born and raised in Brooklyn but lived in Trinidad and went to school there at a young age man I enjoyed this movie and I love the positive message great work guys keep it up I'm a proud supporter of this camp.
Thank you for doing this movie. As a Trinidadian living in the UK for most of my life and keeping my roots and identity alive. I am always shocked and suprised to see how much poor Trinidadian are trying to copy Jamaican yardies. Instead of elevating themselves, they are going backwards. Our identity, our beliefs our customs and tradition are being thrown away to copy the Jamaican yardie . Guns and slack living are glorified our Trinidadians lingo are given up for yardie patoise. The Trinidad I use to know, the poorest of family had aspiration for their children to get a good education and grow up to be somebody and be able to provide better for their children . Parents work hard to set a good example and gave their children good sound moral and values to grow up and be good citizens. Everyone looked out for eachother and no child misbehaved and got away with it. Children had respect for their parents and everyone felt safe. I use to walk from New village to Point Fortin on my own from Lance Noire Toco to Cumana from school on my own and felt very safe. I use to walk from Cruepe, Bell Smyte Street to Mount St Benedict and no one troubled me. Trinidad has lost it's way. We have lost our cherished identity. We listen to music, which taints and conditions our mind with slackness, evil and disrespect. Young people growing up are lost as there are so few good male role models to teach them good from bad. Children get no guidance from people who should know better. They hang rubbish around their neck and hold guns in their hand and feel bad. They are nothing but STUPID COWARDS . Why do a true man need a weapon against another human being often unarmed? It is so easy to kill, but we cannot revive or give life back . Only cowards handle guns . A proper man would never handle a gun or want anything to do with a gun. Parents seems to have no responsibility. Life would catch up with everything we failed to do, because of laziness or turning a blind eye. It makes us just a guilty even more guilty (as parents) for our children crime. If we were proper parents our children would come our different. When young people become seasoned criminals it's too late. I always say Trinidadian who try to be like Jamaicans should go and live there.
Hands down best Trinidad movie I've watched up to date! 10 out of 10.Good script, good message, good comic relief, actors where on point. The ending didnt have me guessing.can say the same for the boy mom 🤣.Somebody need to get this man a real camera he will work magic!.
Just finished watching this. Short film you did a wonderful job sending out this message!! I hate hearing how terrible Trinidad crime has grown. I wish everyone would be wiser in their choices. Trinidad & Tobago is such a beautiful country/island there’s really no need for lives to die in vain.

Villan boy, yuh live by the gun yuh die by the gun. At least yuh did warn the youthman to stay out of badness. Great production, especially for a low budget. The acting was real decent.
@@avillanproduction3598 Nuff Respect King. I hope you are working on more productions. Very impressive writing and acting. Nice twist when the soldiers turned on dude. I am in the states and I am not seeing enough Trini movies coming out lately. Bless up.
Hey watching from Australia...Nice work! Remember Shottas had a low budget and really was never intended to become the cult movie it became! Keep making movies! This is a good one!
I've also learnt it very easy to get pull in at a very young age and d boss he really looked out for dat kid it's good to kn it have ppl who wants to see d younger ones going on d rite part
Excellent effort for a low/no budget flim with amateur actors. Big up to everybody who had a part to play in completing this project. Real solid potential!!... Came across this after searching for local movies to watch because i like the realistic trini vibe, and this one is spot on! If only the producers, editors, actors and everyone else involved in these local shows in trinidad can come together to develop the artform then that would be the real win. Because, as we can see, Trinibad music taking the world by storm. Is real sad that you couldn't convince them to partner in some way to uplift your production and give their music an added avenue also. Keep pushing tru man! I respect the hard work 100%
Thank you very much and because of what you said I will make you proud... because I do feel you and i think alike,I did so many bad things in this life but what I learned that it is never too late to change...thank you from all of me,SLUGGLA THE VILLAN will be a better man.AMEN
it was nice, well-done guys ...the only issue is that you guys use music without obscene language next time so it will better cater to a bigger audience . also I fine double d his 'girl' and villian resemble are you guys related lol
