@@ZerpsTMorning it have nothing to do with outside countries protest , its just we have to much pride to be seen in a protest rallies for the right things but rather protest for either salary increase or some slain gangsters. Now Rowley put a riot act that anyone protesting in large groups can be arrested an charge for not getting consent to hold protest rallies, that my friend i called Dictatorship.
i get the whole point and the argument against using the limited boat resources but what I do not get is why every time a reference is made to the inadequacy or laziness or failure of the Coast Guard; it is qualified by saying "the guns and drugs coming in" When in fact, the truth is the guns and drugs coming IN through the regulated LEGAL Ports of Trinidad and Tobago which are supposed to be controlled by Customs and Excise. Is it becasue its the "popular" thing to say???
Nonsence....the seabridge is currently being services by three vessels one less charges nothing you don't need cabins if you're going to be at sea for 24 hour..there will be a sick bay and a nurse or EMT's..the benefits to Trinidad is the fares..stupes
The seabridge has the APT James, Buccoo Reef and T&T Spirit. We only need 2 of them, why we can't spare the Galleons Passage? The seabridge has been working smoothly even rescuing ppl, what is there to complain about? Helicopter don't need to land to rescue ppl, they can use winch to raise and lower ppl. Must everything you all will have a problem with?
They are going to take our money to buy another vessel which will of course have problems.Intervention from the Coast Guard will come from US bases in the other islands. They now have to comply with international maritime laws so we will now see how worthy the vessel is.I believe these cats came from Australa second hand. They are not designed for open water like going up the Atlantic to reach Barbados
