Great video 👍 Hope some Guyanese are watching because they'll learn that you can Curry a chicken and cannot chicken a curry. That's why it's called curry chicken and not chicken curry
Guyanese are actually correct in saying chicken curry. Chicken curry is grammatically correct because it is a compound noun. Chicken soup, pepperoni pizza, beef patty...and yes, CHICKEN CURRY, are all examples of compound nouns. When you say "curry chicken" it is grammatically incorrect because it should be CURRIED chicken like FRIED chicken and not fry chicken.
Chief you guys need to make your entire range available online for those of us not living in Trinidad! And just because they online don't kill us with price please!
Hello Jason. Yesterday, I made this curry chicken and followed your directions exactly. It was DELICIOUS ! Thank you for your recipe ! I have a question. I love a lot of thick gravy because I eat rice and gravy as a separate meal. If I add more water to stretch the gravy, then the gravy will not be thick. Is there a way to produce a lot of thick gravy ( without adding flour)?
I would suggest adding more water obviously in line with the correct amount of Curry spices to ensure that's it is well balanced ... there is no need to add flour .. just allow it to cook and monitor the level of water content as it does.
This lady added literally 0 to the video, all she did was awkwardly think about how she can mention other Chief products. Great recipe overall, I found this unique as how you explain why you do things, such as adding water to the curry powder to create a paste to reduce grittiness and assist in digestion. Thanks for the tips.
I only watched this video out of curiosity and the cute chef; yep, the cute chef 😱😀. I am a Trinidadian and my nanni taught me to cook so I am good but cool tutorial. You didn’t need the sidekick as you did a great job explaining things but green seasoning in a bottle??? 😱🤦♀️🥴
