Wow first time watching your vlog and thanks for putting us on the map such beautiful lady and soul and your trinee 🤗 continue doing your thing 😍 🤎🖤❤🤍😢💯🇹🇹
The Trini accent emerged sooner rather than later. Not always easy to adopt after over half a century living abroad but easily adopted when amongst locals. Pity not much comment on the crime statistics which is blood curdling. A paradise is now a dragon's den especially for "foreigners"
Can't hold the accent back amongst locals. It just comes back naturally. :-) Praise The Most High I haven't experienced the crime personally, but i stay away from those areas that have trouble. Sadly so many people have had encounters with the crime my heart hurts for any innocent victims.
What crime allyuh watching news and not living here and getting tie up América is a cesspool but issa white man country so allyuh doh say nun hull yuh mudda big cyat
That's mommy, dammmnnn. No disrespect, but mommy is definitely 💣💥, oh my. Fun fact, the seeds of the "Tonka Bean" is now more usually used in cooking and pastries, than the original vanilla. It is even more sought after by top chefs and is very valuable cost wise. Nice video and thanks for the trip, from a Trini living in Sweden and who have never been back, since leaving as a child. Big up! 💐👌
I drove on the other side of the road too but thankfully the people are use to seeing us expats and foreigners doing that do they would point me back to the correct side of the road as they laugh 😄 at me.
Yes, I was definitely driving with a lot more caution since the roads are very narrow, but I did hear people talking about my driving lol 😂 it’s so hard to remember when turning which side of the road to stay on. Lol
Omg look at my cousin ‘Chelle looking like your sister. I haven’t been back to Trinidad since my teens, I need to make a trip very soon for the eats alone. This was a fun and mouthwatering vid.
A big part of running off the road is holding the cellphone and trying to vlog while driving. It’s very dangerous. It’s better when you allow your passenger to vlog for you or you use a phone mount on your dash.
Thanks for the tip. Lol my mom was actually the one recording from the passenger side when I lost the hub caps… but you are right. I did record at other times while driving… definitely not safe AT ALL and not recommended.
Lolol oh boy! Yeah back in the day Homes Roti was good, but it is now a pass for me. Glad I didn’t have to pretend that I liked it on the video… because real trinis know the truth.
I will be driving as well for the first time in about a month for my 50th birthday for a very short say in Trinidad as well. This video was very help to me and thank you soooo much for posting it as I just stumble across your channel 1 minute ago!!!!!
You are very welcome. You are about to have a blast! Make sure you visit Maracus Beach while you are there. You will enjoy the scenic drive through the mountains to get to the beach. :-) Let me know how it goes :-)
Fist of all,you and your mom look like two sisters next time you are driving in Trinidad 🇹🇹 always keep your eye on the left side, if you don't you will jump the curb, every couple seconds watch your mirrors, fender mirrors too,I love my roti, St James has the best roti for me, glad you and your family enjoy your stay in Trinidad 🇹🇹, watching from NYC,
It have something named brakes family. Yuh don't have to run off de road, loss de people hub caps and mash up de suspension or the car. Mash yuh brakes and take yuh time. You will get to your destination safely and save yourself some money.
