Maybe it's time for a catch and release bass fishery. They do it to maintain trophy trout fisheries. it'd be cool to have one for bass.

Mudlines are the deal this time of year on highland reservoirs. I can't wait to get up there to Trinity, it will probably be beat on by then though...

It is already getting more pressure than ever, but there are plenty of fish in that lake, so long as we let them go to live another day

Definitely found them. No giants, but a TON of fish. We landed 91 bass on Saturday. Video will be coming next week!

How did you qualify for Apex? I thought only the top 10 from the pro/ams get an invite?

That’s true, top 10 from ProAm series gets the invite each year, and you get 2 years on Apex Tour, just need to stay competitive

Over the offseason, 18 new APEX anglers were invited to reach 48 anglers. They worked down the AOY list, and I was very fortunate to receive one of the final spots. As you may know, many of the guys in front of me on the AOY list were already APEX anglers, so they were passed up. There were a few others that turned down the invitation.
