I'm back in Phnom Penh and today Ani and I are doing a little shopping at Cambodia's infamous Russian Market. It's a great place to find deals but also you can get ripped off if you don't know what you're doing. The sales people here are very good.

At 2:28, I'm yellin', "TURN RIGHT!" Around the corner - Queen Mamas coffee stand and on the other side was CamboVlog's smoothie auntie (my breakfast auntie)! I love the Russian Market. Other than bahn mi sandwiches at Central Market, I always eat in the TTP area. Thanks for the visit. 👍

I think they used to make them from ivory (elephant tusk) but now they use cow bone...atleast that's what they told me

yeah ah pong is made of deer antler… it’s expensive… talk to the uncles savy. it’s made into that spinning dice, and can be sold for hundreds in the us.

In regards to the deer antlers, its hard to say if they were cut off or they naturally shed. The one you would look for is the one that naturally shed and the use is more of a khmer alchemy practice.

I've heard of it being used in medicines but she said it's mainly for decoration...I don't know how because it was just a small piece.

The word you said meant foreigner actually means one whose citizenship differs from their ancestry. I’m sure there’s an English word for it, but it’s not coming to me.

Yea, that sounds more correct than "foreigner" because technically I'm not a foreigner (one of my employees told me that's what it means). I'm Khmer but I'm a US citizen...there's definitely an english word for that, now it's gonna bother me!
