Trip aboard PR locomotive GMU30 hauling Mehran Express to MirpurKhas (1994) 

Thanks for uploading. Old memories. The train parked next to it is Tezgam I bet because it used to depart at 4.30 in those days and the color scheme was alloted to it. In 1994, PR introduced specific color schemes for major trains. Tezgam had this scheme that resembles north indian railways, awami had greyish patterns and khyber mail had red or brown type carriages. I don't remember other colors but Tezro and Chenab also had some specific colors and I guess also Shalimar. Plz post other old vds

Mehran Express was localaised train and went upto Mirpurkhas. I have seen it coming Hyderabad at around 7 o clock, jam packed. In mid sixties, prime tranport was railways. Then roads were popular. Finally this train was stopped. May be this train has been resumed. Passengers coming from up country like to travel Mirpurkhas, by train and one train is running at around 7 o clock in the evening.

You are right Brother The train was famous TEZGAM AWAM EXPRESS was GREY,RED and BLUE KHYBER MAIL was RUST and YELLOW STRIP BOLAN MAIL and QUETTA EXPRESS were SKIN and Blue I was 8 years old when i traveled from RAWALPINDI TO QUETTA in QUETTA EXPRESS and BACK to RAWALPINDI I also traveled in TEZGAM from RAWALPINDI to SAHIWAL and SAHIWAL to RAWALPINDI in these coloured trains

KARACHI EXPRESS was SKIN and RED and it became NON-STOP train in 1995 CHINAB EXPRESS and TEZRAO were also Changed

From sound i thought it was GMU 15 loco
