Mine too... it describes my life perfectly. I had a stroke caused by an AVM when I was 23 and it's been tough a lot of days but by the grace of God I'm still here and kickin' and I have Sweet Victory in the blood of my Savior JESUS CHRIST!

Mann, I remember when I first heard Trip Lee's album about 5 years ago. The one were him and The Ambassador rapped together! That was one of the few songs that impacted me. Ima miss u TripLee Stay strong man of God!
I'm really gonna miss your music Trip ;( But on the upside, you've ended your music career with a spectacular & inspirational album! It has been so useful for me this year. You have gave me a song to perform at a talent show, a song to perform at a funeral,a song to perfrom at a wedding, a song to perform at Seattle, and just few other songs i just learn for fun. Trip Lee isn't the first holy hip hop artist/minister to leave the music industry to go into 'the ministry'. I remember a bilingual artist named DG the rebel. He was part of a California group called Unity Klan. The group made 3 albums from 97-01. All 3 members made a solo album. Then one day on the group's website, DG announced that he was leaving the group to go into full time ministry. So gospel rap history repeats itself. Be blessed T.L., do what u do, put it down for the Lord.
I'd recommend this book to pretty much everybody, Christian or Non-Christian, that I know. This book will serve as a wake-up call for most. Even in many "solid churches" most people think of the good life as a synoynm for the American Dream or to be all you can be. Trip does an excellent job of debunking that myth by clarifying the Biblical model for his readers. Great Book!

No one is exempt since Jesus pre-warned us that "in this world you will have trouble". But the difference between those who have active faith in God and those who don't is in how they handle their problems. Whilst people without God often become diminished by their problems and end up depressed, bitter, fearful, narcotically dependent and subtracted versions of their original self - in contrast TRUE Christians are refined by their problems (like gold is by fire) to become stronger, more positive, wiser and more humble versions of their original selves who grow to trust God more and seek to help others with the knowledge gained through their hardships as opposed to adopting an introverted /self focused and closed dog-eat-dog, pessimistic and selfish view of the world which is what happened to me by the time I was 26 before becoming a Christian. Remember God didn't promise to exempt us from trouble BUT to be with us, IN the trouble.God bless you!

The Bible also instructs men to "love their wives like Christ loved the church" Ephesians 5:24. last I checked the bible says Christ died for the church. The way you speak of women lacks love. He was moving onto the next phase of God's plan. To pastor one day. He is recently on staff with his church working towards that one day. He is also back working on music as well.
