A year ago I moved into my vintage Florida home on a quarter acre in Lake Placid, from Iowa, started planting fruit trees, endured Irma, three hard freezes, then I found you...OMG...I'm so addicted...now I'm mulching like a mad woman, planting spinach's, moringa's, jaboticaba...well, you know the rest of the story...I have found my calling and at 69, it's never too late to find your true self, food forests rule...THANK YOU!!! BTW, how do we follow your wife, just planted two cranberry hibiscus and would love her tea recipe...
Milkweed Dreams I love it! Thanks for the feedback:) Melissa is reading comments but doesn't have her own channel. She had an Instagram and Facebook but isn't very active.
I bet! I had a great time living there for 2 1/2 years, just wish I'd had the resources to make it last longer & be more secure from thieves. The climate, esp. on the mountainous regions, is awesome.
Thanks so much for the amazing Costa Rica tour. The cinematography was so professional and the music transported me into the amazing futuristic permaculture paradise world that could be on the horizon for all humanity. Thanks for inspiring me while I dig holes and plant bare root trees etc.. in cold N. Idaho. Your videos gave me a rest break and inspirition to go back out and haul wood chips for my food forest. You guys are Awesome!
I 2nd that--great suggestion...love Pine Island's upgraded website but a video would be fabulous...I have 2 varieties that are young yet, in Phoenix...I lost one to a freeze--but those plants are otherwise tough. Replanted one and damaged roots in the process twice...just not sure which I lost...believe it was my Makok but could have been the Alano...Still have the Ox variety...a video might help me decide on a 3rd at some pt :)
