Would be mad to let Trippier go, even on the sidelines against Spurs he was giving instructions to the defence. Give him longer contract with an option to coach at the end. He would be brilliant U21 coach.

Trippier has had problems at home apparently. He has done a lot for the club. And we should support him. Although hes had patchy form stilll has a lot to offer.
Agreed Just like we supported Tonali thru his problems so we should with Tripps. He's still better than Tino for now in EVERYWAY but Tino will be ready maybe next season or second half of this one. Pretty poor of Eddie to take Captaincy off Trippier then drop him during a tough personal time
@OGA_999 Eddie has to do what is best for the team, not 1 player. Eddie knows Trips head isn't in the right place and most likely knows Trips will be leaving so I think it's the right call to take the captaincy from him.

He must want to be away because doubt wddie wants him to leave. Mat be been words. If there’s animosity I’d rather him leave than upset the apple cart. Shame like still has a lot to give. No on the basis he thinks he’s getting older and slower but still level headed and good under pressure. And his leadership skillz are second to none

Newcastle are such a momentum team and these int breaks don’t do us any favours. Be so pleased to see Fabian Schar back, although it’ll be rough on Emile Kraft who had absolutely not let us down. It might be that his best contribution could be to PSR by getting sold for a decent price as he’s performed well of late.
Don't mind this break to be honest. Possibly come at a good time. Gives willock and, dare I say it, Wilson, 2 weeks to get sorted. Wilson especially. Results have been good so far, but performances need a big improvement. Don't think we have any 'momentum' to lose currently
Given the ineptitude of our so-called directors, we now cannot afford to let ANYONE go. But we will. Because that's what makes the least sense. Like this entire shambles of a summer. Come November, be back to last season again, with 13 fking fit players.
I hope we keep Trips. I think he’s a great players to bring on. 90 mins week in week out is too much for him. He drives himself into exhaustion. But as a sub he’s got a steady and experienced presence. Losing players is a modern way of doing things - see Hall. Different sort of thing I know but Hall was an unknown (might not be up to it) and so is Trips (might be past it). So a loan makes sense. The loan will be like the one we had with Hall. If he plays enough times they’ll be contracted to buy.
I would be astounded if we haven’t looked at that as an option. The key factor is about only getting players who make us better. It’s like the options other than Guehi were very, very limited. They were often wrong type of centre back (not a press busting baller, for eg) or the price was wrong or they simply were not available. Tell you what though, I must have a gander at who’s out there on a free!
Sorry to see Trippier go but if you look at him he does not look happy, personally I think it's more to do with his personal problems and he just wants to get away from his problems.
Tino isn’t ready yet to be our sole RB option in my opinion tripps should be starting some games where we need to keep possession and dangerous balls in. His attracting contribution is invaluable to us right now
Trippier should be allowed to leave if he wants. He’s done so much for our club and if he isn’t happy sitting on the bench then let him go to a club where he’ll have European football and first team football

I don’t think they’re forcing him out why give him an extension on his contract? Howe wants to keep him at the club as if we do get too many injuries or wants to rest players then he can play Trippier.
I think we all have to bear in mind with Trippier that if the rumours are true, his personal life is in tatters. . I think he lost the captaincy to relieve the pressure. His fault, but it is still very difficult to live with and function well under those circumstances. I noticed him talking to everyone on the bench. I find that laudable. Plus remember a lot of the early joiners under PIF came because of Amanda, and she's gone. Ithink that's affecting afew players. To me, the club feels a little 'off' at the minute. The last two windows have been a sh"tshow of you ask me too.
You don’t kin him out when you already loan out Harrison Ashby who’s also a right back this transfer window has showed me just how fickle some of our fans are if it was Mike Ashley in charge a kid of yous would be going mental
Can't understand that like ,trippier great full back and I can see no benefit to loaning him out.Newcastle short on numbers anyway two or three injuries and newcastle be crying for players.
Trippier HAS to leave tyneside for personal reasons - the same that caused him to have to return home form the England squad last year, the same reasons that his form dipped so badly immediately afterwards that gave so many uncustomary mistakes. Needs a different place to ply his trade, nothing to do with team selections by Howe.
Football-wise, keep him. He’s clearly a massively influential squad member. Human-wise, let him do whatever he needs to do. Sometimes you just need to be somewhere else.
Tripps cost us games last season he was a nightmare, what ever he did before that is history and we are in the "Now". if does go to Turkey please god let him take Longstaff with him along with Dan Burn.

A laughing stock because someone is alleging there is interest in 1 of our players ? And even if it's correct that there is interest in 1 of our players why would that make us a laughing stock ? How does that work? Why do people even take these things seriously before they happen ? These same types of sources were agitating fans over the idea of Bruno, Gordon or Isak being sold and there was never any indication by the players that they were pushing for it.
@@paulos9900 Kieran no longer has a family box at St.James anymore, his wife and children have left his family home, his marital home is up for sale, he is no longer captain is JL's abcense, he is longer first choice anymore, he is 33yrs old and wants first team football. He clearly isn't in a good headspace and probably wants to go somewhere to clear his head, so i think he will go. Needless to say without any real cover and with defenders already out injured and others playing out of position to cover to let him go is ridiculous. Our recent lack of transfer business shows us to be owned by billionaires but the club being run like a side hustle these days very amateur. No top club wastes 6 weeks trying to buy a player with no plan B and then fail to get anybody in to a threadbare squad. The problems will mount and injuries will happen before we get to january with a chance to put this shitshow right.
