Being a broke college student isn't fun when looking up in the skies and seeing the planes fly over; you wish you were on them and you wonder where they go to. Sure a vacation is too expensive for me, but Simply Aviation allows me to dream away and enjoy business class or exotic flights to places in the world I've never heard before. And who knows? Maybe someday I can do one of the planetrips filmed by this channel.
When I saw Japan and ANA, I was thinking about how many boxes of Japanese curry David must have bought during that trip.... Turns out to be Simon eating Wagyu beef in the first class. :P
When flying ANA First Class, I always pick their Japanese option which is better than what they have in Business Class. Western food is not a strong point for ANA in both First and Business class.
I watched ANA's promotional video for "The Room" and wondered how much were going to overhaul the first class. This video meets the expectations I was having and even goes beyond.
I spotted a Qantas 747 400 on the apron on take off !! Lovely day for flying with great views of Haneda below! And Mt Fuji !! What a wonderful food and drink selection...and my TV screen at home is not as big as the one in front of you !! I can only dream Simon but the food alone let alone the seat etc looked outstanding !! Well done as always and I look forward to your next adventure in what ever class that may be !!
Hi Renata, Love your channel and all your Videos! This year ANA switched it up and is now flying into Haneda from my home city as opposed to Narita. So excited! Keep making those excellent vlogs!👍
@@jaypainespotter Awww! Thank you so much! Yeah, I was just checking flights too and saw that now there are more flights from the USA to Haneda, I'm so happy!!! I'm hoping to land there next time and give it a try 😉😊. All the best!
It's definitely faster and cheaper but if you have a hotel in Shinjuku for example Narita is easier as you won't have to change trains, and the Narita express being way less crowded then the average train in Tokyo.
I have always enjoyed your reports. I found this one especially enjoyable because you were in premium and you seemed to enjoy the drinks. That is was I do when I fly premium. Thanks.
Great review Simon, that beverage list was very extensive and the food looked amazing! Nice they made up your bed in an adjoining seat, very thoughtful of them :D
Great video. Have you guys considered flying Ryanair again recently? They now have all their aircraft fitted with the new seats so if you don’t get the full new cabin, at least you’d have the new seats. It would be interesting if you made a brutally honest video on Ryanair. Just an interesting suggestion...
Oh Simply Aviation, just a bit before covid. Many japenese individuals already using face masks, such a great civilization. 1:49 Stopping a premium customer from filming the lounge is very interesting ( I stick to this word ). 4:38 Are there holes on the tarmac?
I was disappointed with this trip report, too! No tour of the lav, checking out the snack bar, amenity kit, etc. It looked no better than business class. 🤔😒
Just for aircraft like this though. Others obviously have different configurations but it's crazy though and it was even less then 8 because it wasn't even full.
Such an elegant and beautiful suite. Look at the massive and high definition screen! How was the toilet on board? Anything special? Toilets on 777 are usually smaller compared to A380.
Nice Video : keep up the good reviews coming. 1 : also wanted to see the lavatories in the new aircraft 2 : Did i miss hearing the engines in Reverse Thrust while landing or was the sound insulation that good in F ?
The noise you hear is the aircraft's nose gear going over the taxiway and runway centerline lights, they are encase in a covering to prevent them from being damaged but they still need to be visible; so the casing is as smooth as possible, but of course when an aircraft goes over them at high speed there's bound to be some noise. Also, anytime an aircraft that has suites like the ones shown in the video, there are lots of moving parts that are made to flex, thus the increased noise everytime the nose gear hits a bump or a runway light casing.
How does this compare to the first class on their old 747s and the 747 first class from the 90s? I never flew ANA or one of their 747s, but those planes looked beautiful
Nice review. It seems the airlines will do this quite often when you are in the premium cabin and an adjacent seat is available the passenger uses that secondary to their assigned seat. How long will Airlines be able to sustain that? 8 seats in that cabin correct? How many seats were taken?
Is it first class or business class,as I have seen the same product reviewed by other influencers and they mentioned it as business class, correct me if I’m wrong, cheers
Good thing now and in the future, the Tokyo-London direct route market is no longer offered out of Narita, the Tokyo-Paris counterpart though if Air France chooses not to reinstate their Narita slot in the future again will be exclusively a Haneda route. Frankfurt on the other hand JAL is the only one that flies in and out of Narita, where ANA and Lufthansa have completely migrated to Haneda. For Delta, their days in Narita are long over. UA and AA will continue to fly to both though. Tokyo-Toronto direct market is strictly Haneda as AC is the sole operator of this direct route.
imagine being offered such fine and sophisticated Japanese cuisine on such an airline but then you go for the typical western roast beef AND burger lol
Wonderful video! I would just suggest putting a dark gray (partially transparent?) background behind the test. Sometimes the text is very hard to read when the object in the video is white, bright or reflective.
Con que aerolinea japonesa me recomiendas ir más con Ana o japan airlines a tokio ? Si alguna vez voy para allí... ya me diras cual me recomiendas gracias ! Y buen video buen vuelo 😊
