PLEASE READ: Like everyone else, we are very concered about the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We have suspended all travels until at least late-June. However, we have decided to continue to publish videos as usual because luckily, within the past twelve months, we were able to record a lot more videos than we were able to publish. This means we will publish some older Tripreports we weren't yet able to cut and upload. And we have enough of them to continue to publish three Tripreports per week for the foreseeable future! We ask for your apology for having to upload some older videos which are not necessarily up-to-date. As always, you can see when a video was recorded in the description. Thank you for your understanding. We wish everyone, especially those working in the aviation and travel industry, a lot of strength in this difficult time. Remember to wash your hands and stay safe! Greetings from Vienna, David and Felix
As an aviation enthusiast I wish airports had aviation shops with aircraft models etc. I really enjoy seeing the ground crew wave goodbye to the departing aircraft. I have only seen this custom in Taiwan and Japan. It just puts me in a good mood for the flight. 🤗. Take care. Hope all of us can be back in the air soon. ♥️🛫🙏🏽🌎
Interestingly, if you happen to go to Indonesia. I was at Manado once on an A320 flying back home, when once the ground staff were done with their duties they also happened to wave goodbye, they also made a symbol of respect and to have a safe flight.
Simply Aviation Recommended Trip: Since you've been to Colombia and I've seen your vids there, try Bogota to Manizales, or Manizales to Medellin. Both Really Nice Cities you should Visit! The flight is operated by an ATR-72 Avianca.
Love the sound of an airplane start up and takeoff. Can’t wait to be onboard a plane again, hopefully soon as the world becomes normal again. Lovely flight David as always. Thanks a million for keeping us entertained during this period. 😉
i don't think the world will be the same mate,i can't see how the airlines can keep passenger distancing for at least 18 months maybe ,i hope i'm wrong and they find a vaccine quickly
Thanks again David...bus rides to and from aircraft are great for plane spotting !! I hope you waved back at the ground crew !! And yes great views on take off !! Thanks David...pretty good flight by the look of things. Stay well mate in these most troubling of times !!!
Simply Aviation are a fantastic channel. David & Flex are the best and it was this channel that got me into starting my own channel. EVA Air have an excellent product. Keep up the good work!!
Dont change this particular intro I really love it . I had planned to travel to Singapore on a380 (a dream was about to come true) but i altered my plans while i had to deal whith coronVirous
At the end of one side Songsang airport runway has a very good place for plane spotting, did you go there? Eva Air is a great airline and Taiwan is a great place with nice people all around.
FYI, although the airport there in Taoyuan is officially known as Taipei international airport, Taoyuan is totally an independent and different city from Taipei.
That’s the thing in most cities actually, Vancouver International Airport in Canada is actually in Richmond, not in Vancouver. and so as Toronto Pearson Airport, it’s in Pearson. So pretty much most cities do that.
Its a super easy and convenient way to enter and leave compared to the busy TPE. My parents are Taiwanese, and most of my relatives live in Taiwan so I travel from the US to Taiwan at least once a year. In the past few years, Ive noticed that my parents have completely avoided TPE in booking flights. We always fly into and out of TSA. We've gotten off a flight from Korea at TSA and had our bags and cleared immigration within 10 minutes of getting off the plane. Truly convenient!
Actually... UNI Air wet-leased EVA Air’s A321s in their international and domestic routes. Both pilots and cabin crews are from EVA Air. Since Far Eastern Airlines and TransAsia Airways were went out of business, UNI Air and Mandarin Airlines have to cover up the the traffic volume which used to provide by FAT and TNA. By the way... EVA which is the abbreviation for Evergreen Airlines, so it is pronounced separately like Eee-Vee-A lol 😁😁 And welcome to Taiwan! I hope you have enjoyed our country as long as our delicious food, different cultures, and warm people we had here. And I really hope to see a brutally honest on STARLUX Airlines, which is founded by EVA Air founder’s son, also ex-CEO of EVA Air after this pandemic.
Thanks very much for your wonderful and fantastic video. Great...and a top TSA airport. This is a famous airport. I liked all. EVA-Air is a very good Airline. Very good is the Airline Shop at TSA Terminal.
The only thing I hate about UNI air (which I found out the hard way), is that’s even though they are an EVA subsidiary, they aren’t a part of star alliance so I couldn’t use any of my gold benefits.
@Simply Aviation thank you for making a video/vlog about Eva Air not much vids about this airlines lmfao lmao lol yolo , thank you for putting your sweat , tears , bloods , energy in making all your vids /vlogs great job keep up the great work dude . Oh wow cool they are usin''' the A321-200 aircraft wow amazingly pretty & beautiful aircraft's they have got but leg rooms are so tiny oh dear i don't think i could fit my leg's & thigh's in that small room haha lmfao lmao lol , beautifully big engine's the aircraft has there haha lol nice , sexy engine's roar's , one i think about the plane i don't like is the wing tip ends i prefer the old design of it .
Hi there david, A huge fan from Jakarta , Indonesia here i love aviation just like you do!! I have one question though , How do you deal with languange barrier? since you travelled so much you must have been to a lot of countries.
hi sir... this is good... and plz can you make a video in india's domestic airline INDIGO... i will be glad... whenever you visit india... not a problem... and plz make one... i am your dearest subscriber..😊😊
nice video as always david and i like the way you put in little bits of info like uni and eva air i was wondering why you were on a eva plane but uni air ticket ,one other thing could you say how much your ticket costs , thanks keep safe and long may simple aviation continue
Quoc anh Vu Pham I live in HCMC too bro, but Tân son Nhat is wayyy more different, Tân son Nhat is a international airport and it’s quite big. There are 2 runways. The airport can accommodate 747 and a340s, but while on the other hand, Songshan, they only have 1 runway, can accommodate the 777 and others and they are mostly used for Taiwanese domestic flights. And only a few international routes to japan.
Quoc anh Vu Pham that’s why they planned to build a new international airport. I think it’s called Văn don something. But it’s too far way too far from hcmc. Like 2 hours car ride from the city.
Uni Air and EVA Air are two different companies of the same founder under the Evergreen Group. They may be same “organization” because they have the same boss.
Hello David and Felix. I really enjoy your video and I have been watching since 2017 and if you are running out of trip reports to make I would enjoy it if you would do A Livestream just talking to the chat about aviation! Thank you cheers
Juz a warm reminder, using electronic devices include cameras are not allowed in domestic flight according to CAA regulation, another youtuber was fined 30K NTD for filming in the MD-80 of FAT. Filming in Penghu Airport are also against the law as the airport is also an air force base. You better check the regulation wth Eva air juz to avoid any trouble www.ttv.com.tw/news/view/10811070012900I/572
It was actually really interesting. Lots of history there and a very remote place. However there isn’t a lot of natural beauty, it’s not like Hawaii or Okinawa. You visit because it’s simply an interesting place... :)
