In this very special video I take you with me on a flight on the Boeing 737 classic! This was the highlight of the trip that I made at the beginning of February! This video is made possible by my friends of LaMa Aviation. We could give you a unique perspective of the landing and take off! I hope you enjoy!

I flew on a 737-300 on September 2nd 2023 and it was on G-GDFO beautiful aircraft.

That was really awesome Rudi with the double camera perspectives.Excellent work.737-300s without the winglets and the 400s were the workhorses of Olympic airways at 80s and 90s.I flew with these jets multiple times in Europe and Greece.Cheers buddy👋

You may think the 300 could stay in service for longer but they’re not as economic as the new engine equipment and Jet2 have a huge order for A321NX & A320neo to replace their entire fleet with more economic, greener & quieter aircraft. It’s pure economics - saving fuel. Plus I think I’m right in saying no other major airline in Europe operate the 737 classics so parts & servicing will become more difficult.

Yeah the crew told me the 300 should stay in service until 2026. So obviously it still works for them!

Was it just us? Landing at CDG earlier this year, late arrival, plenty of crosswind on approach, bouncing all over , then had to exit the runway at speed, due to incoming behind us, then had to slam on the brakes, not to cause a runway incursion (whilst a A380 departed) lol. Frantic at CDG. ALL GOOD FUN lol
