Tbh i dont see why Jojo would care about how tana perceive colleen, shes a narcissist anyway. I think this is more to do with how karma blew up not in the way she wanted it to and her becoming a laughing stock so she made up stories to savage that and that's why shes offended when tana does it as a meme.
well jojo gave james a free pass to make fun of her, but here comes tana making fun of her, this doesn't make sense at all, she was made fun of for wearing bows and is made into a meme because she wears bows and stuff.
percs are rlly strong painkillers that make you “high”. the opposite of adderall. since adderall makes you perky and energized, percs are downers that make you more chilled out and woozy
@@Sjood-qs8ol same! it's cuz it gives a dopamine boost that helps regulate mood, which in turn will calm racing thoughts or hyperactivity, helping us focus :) people without adhd don't really need that extra boost bc they can regulate normally, and so they just get super hyper. I remember always wondering why caffeine made me so sleepy before i was diagnosed lmao
@@Sjood-qs8ol I think its cause Adderall was basically made for adhd/add so it doesn't effect us the same that it does with someone who doesn't actually have adhd/add. My old highschool friends were taking ts for fun while I was taking my actual medicine lmfao
@@Sjood-qs8olthat’s because you have ADHD and use it for items intended purpose! they don’t affect those with ADHD the same way they do someone without (edit: i also have ADHD)
for real! I knew what a perc was in middle school and honestly, it was from health class. LOL We were making list of what we wanted to try.... probably wasn't too long after that I actually popped a perc. Thank GOD I did not go down that path ultimately
So wholesome. A 20 y/o online-one who goes out and does normal young people things-having no idea what a perc is or what opes are is giving me hope for humanity. Dear Adam, stay that way :D ...You can know about them when you're 70 and get your knee replaced or something.
That actually made me happy. I need opiods for actual health issues and am so careful with them because I have lost so many friends and people I know who became addicts through prescriptions. I am glad he has never had to deal with pain that needs them, or experimented with them. So easy to cross the line.
@@irradiated_woman8016even then, he wouldn’t know it by the name Percocet because that’s an American brand. It’s just referred to as oxycodone over here.
Jojo: Nothing you can say to me is worse than what I’ve said to myself. Also Jojo: What the heck. Why would Tana say I haven’t taken a perc before that was so mean.
Honestly Jojo is a total other level in my eyes because she directly harmed children and supports pdf files... at least Tana and Trish flip flop who they support 😅
lol nothing Trish and Tana have done in their past is the same as Jojo and her little kid pop star factory and her dear friends that shall not be named… let’s be realistic here
The opioid crisis in america is related to all the stuff you were describing in Baltimore / LA. It’s a huge crisis here because a lot of people are prescribed the drugs for post surgery/ pain and then they get hooked because they are so highly addictive. Just wanted to provide some American insight
I had surgery last summer and I was so afraid to get dependent on the Percocet they prescribed me so I only took it before bed and took Tylenol the rest of the day. It’s crazy strong
Same! I'm a 39 year old mom and ex Colleen fan! I feel weird following him being so old lol never know the other people he talks about 😂. If I feel weird watching him how do grown ups hang with and groom kids? Fuck the pedophiles
Genuinely think that Jojo’s interpretation of “turning heads and shocking people” in her mind ends with them LIKING her work, rather than criticizing or making fun of her. She wants a turn around of haters to fans from this rebrand, and it’s not working like she expected I think. She doesn’t want the hate Miley got, she wants the recognition and support that came years later, right now.
She thinks it’s the same criticism that Miley Cyrus got when she first rebranded, but the difference is Miley got hate mostly from adults, because the rebrand was so extreme and parents thought she was a bad influence. Jojo’s rebrand criticism comes from how HUGE her ego is, how inauthentic her music career is, how it started right when she was getting called out for real problematic behavior to seemingly “cover it up”, and how she is taking credit for things that existed for decades before her. Miley’s rebrand was rebranding herself from a disney character to her authentic self, and Jojo rebranded as a copy of Miley lmaoo
@@ImSparky2002we would love for you to explain how a compliment about hair has anything to do about what kind of person she is 😍 we will wait until you start commenting something relevant to the actual comment
Jojo was a bad girl right alongside her mother- to those poor kids in her 'pop group'. But I don't think that's the kind of bad girl she wants to admit to being.
ugh i was hooked on percocets “percs” when i was younger after an accident. they are very strong! they make you feel so good. but your body gets used to it and you withdrawal from not having it
@@unicorn420puke I had them after I had a c-section with my daughter. Back in the 80’s they were prescribed to me as percadan. I had a horrible spinal headache and they were the only medication that helped me. I would never take them now though. They are a very heavy pain killer. We know so much more today than we knew 40 years ago.
It’s also annoying hearing her talk about how much she loved Miley’s rebrand at the time when “everyone else hated it”, as if she wasn’t literally 8 years old during the Bangerz era😀 Like no one my age hated Miley’s rebrand, because we weren’t in 3rd grade still watching Disney Channel.
Hey everyone, it’s not about Adam being innocent necessarily. We don’t have prescription drugs pushed on us in the UK like in the US. Which means we aren’t slaves to brand name prescriptions. It’s more common for us to call medication by its medical name. Adam, if you’ve ever had a major surgery , co-codamol is probably the closest. I’ve had that before.
100%, in the UK and other countries we still have similar meds a lot of the time, they’re just sold under a different brand name. Eg. Tylenol is called Panadol in NZ
Most people in the US aren’t getting brand name prescriptions. Generics are most common since insurance doesn’t want to pay big money for covering brand names. This isn’t always the case but 9 out of ten times it applies. People (those who don’t work in pharmacies) don’t always learn the generic name and may use the names interchangeably even though it’s highly likely they are getting generic drugs. Assuming the patent on the brand name drug isn’t in effect (or hasn’t been extended for the umpteenth time)
@@chaotic.tired.goblin.yea coming from someone who’s been on prescribed medication for most of their life, insurance 9/10 times will switch the brand medication for the cheaper generic brand of medication (since they’re the ones footing most of the bill in america. Remember some of these drugs can range in the hundreds of dollars for only a 30 day supply). We mostly just say the brand name for recognition so ppl know what we’re talking about. One example is that technically my psychiatrist prescribed me Adderall XR, but when I go to the store I pick up Dextroamphetamine, a generic of Adderall XR. It does the same thing, just the cheaper alternative
@@midgematic8659see here in the UK we’d just say the chemical name so that everyone knows what we’re talking about, rather than the brand. Unless we’re talking about over the counter drugs like ibuprofen, then we might use the brand names. But prescriptions are always referred to by their chemical names.
Me being prescribed strong opiods daily for my Multiple Sclerosis like... Y'all take these for fun? Im over here feeling completely sober and still in a decent amount of pain 😂
Adderall is like meth, except instead of buying it, you have to have a boss battle with your psychiatrist and then a second boss battle with your pharmacist and then also a third boss battle with your insurance.
@@hallegamingrblx possibly but I wouldn’t be surprised if she was totally sober either. She seems like a truly sick person naturally. Drugs would be an excuse for her
Adam going “what is a perc, have I ever done one?” Had me DEAD Edited to add: Percocet is a combination of oxycodone (an opiate, in the same class as morphine/fentanyl/heroin) and acetaminophen (which is Tylenol/paracetamol). It’s a downer, it makes you sleepy and induces intense euphoria if you have no tolerance. It’s highly addictive especially if you’re predisposed to addiction. It also constipates you lol. Source: I work in a pharmacy and also was prescribed a week of Percocet when I tore a muscle in my back. I wish they’d told me to use a stool softener 💀
@@BrokenEvil you’re absolutely right! Percocet is the brand name too, a lot of non-US countries use generics (which I WISH we did but alas big pharma is here to make money off us in every way they can)
Jojo knows what she is doing. The best way to be long term famous is to go through a period where everyone hates you. Then rebrand again and have your redemption arc
@@j-rodthelibrarykid1166I really think JoJo is an abused kid who doesn’t know it. All the adults in her life are toxic. She has no concept of a normal life.
@@j-rodthelibrarykid1166 there are so many actual p3dos and killers out there. Truly sick people. Jojo isn’t one of them. You might not like her or think she’s cringe, but she’s not the evil person in the world who everyone needs to be scared of
I think this is the perspective she has about her rebrand, but her ego and ignorance during this specific rebrand is just so off putting, and unless she addresses that as well as her past and current problematic behavior, I don’t think that redemption arc is gonna happen as easily.
7:19 omg the perc discussion made me feel so old. I was like babe a Percocet duhh what you dont know what an opioid is? Then i remember your not in the states. 😂
I love you for being a sweet baby angel that doesnt know anything about drugs ❤. Theres a huge problem in the US now with people getting hooked on opiate painkillers. They dont usually prescribe them to us in Europe. Opiates were super famous in victorian times (imagine fancy people smoking in pipes laying on chaiselonges in very dogy bars) but now are just used for medical reasons in extreme pain. But people in the us be poppin them like candy sadly.
He doesn’t know the American brand names because he’s not American, and drug brands aren’t universal. Over here we’d know “percocet” as oxycodone. You’re right, oxycodone isn’t given out as freely over here. Luckily there isn’t a massive opioid crisis here in Europe like there is in the US.
@prescottperfection6354 i completely understand. Im Spanish, but i know because of the news, the movies and true crime docus i consume. I just find it sweet. And i love all the automatic research. My adhd ass relates.
I do not and will never support people like James, colleen, Jojo but also will NEVER support tana and trisha either. They are equally problematic.I do not understand how people still see them as being good. They are always on the side that has more popularity.ISTG they do not have morals
I mean, Jojo is a bad girl, but in the bad way of bad girl It’s like “Karma’s a bitch I should’ve known better If I don’t remember what I would’ve never verbally abused children If I blah blah blah blah I would’ve never promoted child predators to children If I blah blah I would’ve never discredited victims of abuse Or told a bleeding child to put a pad on it”
or I would’ve never cheated on my girlfriend and then make tiktoks trying to insinuate they were the problem I would’ve never taken credit for a music genre that existed for decades before I was even born I would’ve never started a music career solely with songs that were written when I was still in bows
Tbh announcing her bad girl era is a crazy thing to do. If she just started slowly bringing in more mature behavior and clothing and doing her bad girl stuff it would happen naturally. This point just makes it all the more clear this is a strategic rebranding from her corporate handlers to bury her abuse allegations.
Adderal is what Demi labour had a problem with during camp rock 2. It’s ADHD meds but Can be addictive, helps you to focus and gives you energy kinda like coke.
AKA abunch of hypocrites act like they're unproblematic while calling out someone whose track record doesn't involve saying slurs and racist charticarures
@@Moonlightmatchmaking heroin is a rapidly acting opioid. You’re right it’s stronger but your body gets used to pills rather quickly and you soon can’t afford as much as your body needs so switching to heroin becomes next step as it’s so much stronger but basically the same thing Edit: it’s also cheaper when you switch from pills. Horrible stuff, soon consumes your entire life and personality
As an ex addict. It was genuinely adorable seeing you like “what is a perc” “what is an opioid?🤔” it’s cool seeing people soooo far removed from that crap
Adam not knowing what Percocet is or opioids is so cute and good for him! It’s very known here in the U.S. but it’s a very dangerous opioid epidemic here in 🇺🇸
Adam (an Irish person): What is an opioid? What is an oxy? Me (an American): What is paracetamol? Edit for any other confused Americans: according to Google, paracetamol is just Tylenol/acetaminophen
Quick note on the whole "that's not the paracetamol I know" thing: Strong opioids like Oxycodone or codeine are often combined with paracetamol (Tylenol if you're US based) because the combination can lower the amount of opioid pain meds needed to control the same amount of pain, and you always want to have the lowest amount of opioids possible. Percocet is the brand name of Oxycodone combined with paracetamol for that reason, but is easier to get ahold of on the street than straight oxycodone, and or people see it as less risky (this is not true.)
tana’s comment was so insightful imo lol. this rebrand feels so inauthentic to jojo bc she kept the little kid brand/persona up until 20. she wasn’t allowed to age with her fans so now her target demographic has been excluded and she’s left with no genuine audience. also think it’s funny how there’s been no promo released of the making of the song like jojo in the studio recording it. she would’ve let the world believe she wrote it if it wasn’t leaked that it’s from 2011.
😂LMFAO! I can't get over Adam searching Percs and getting automotive results 😂 and then searching more definitions for drugs! Oh it's fantastic, I love you Adam!
In my state, Public libraries carry naloxone for free. It’s literally a life-saver. I’m hoping this will become standard for all states if it isn’t already
Percocet is a prescribed painmedicine, but can be HIGHLY addictive, also Adderall is technically Anphetamine which is in the drug M*th, however it's prescribed usually for people with ADHD as it has the opposite effect for people with ADHD.
If i was gonna rebrand jojo i would keep the rainbows but give it like E girl or bohemian festival girl vibes . Give her like rainow hair and a septum piercing and try to push the stoner girl vibe because i think thats more believable and is still on brand while also giving her a more adult aesthetic
Sweetie your lack of knowledge of common drugs is so adorably innocent. Paracetamol in the USA is called acetaminophen or Tylenol. Percocet, oxy, Vicodin, are all an opiate (what heroin is at a less extreme level) mixed with Tylenol for severe or chronic pain. At low doses, opiates can make a person feel euphoric and actually want to get things done but as your tolerance builds you need more to get a high and it becomes sedating. Adderall is an amphetamine and when taken by people who actually have a neurodivergent diagnosis, calms a persons mind and enables them to focus. When used recreationally it can also cause euphoria due to a flood of dopamine (what adhd brains lack) and makes you feel super good. The stimulant aspect keeps people up so often used by college students to study, party, or go to work with a hangover. Hope this helps :)
