Well Vernon has a son, Tristan, who is a chip off the old block. Tristan Maxwell, a 6'2" junior at North Mecklenburg HS plays his summer travel ball with Team Charlotte (run by long time NBA player Jeff McInnis).
Tristan is an all out bucket getter. He plays with a competitive fire and wants the ball in his hands for all the big shots.
