Surveillance video obtained by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s office showed Crystal Smith washing her son, Aiden Fucci’s bloody jeans in a sink, just hours after he murdered 13-year-old Trystan Bailey two years ago.
What a gross, selfish, ugly person. She got off way too easy. She should definitely be in prison. Trying to cover up a murder your son committed isn’t what you do if you truly love your son. Covering up for him just sends the message it’s okay as long as you don’t get caught. Love does the right thing. That’s what’s truly best for the person you love. Teaching him to take responsibility for what he did is what a real mom would do. What she did was out of fear masquerading as love. She seemed more concerned about him getting caught then the fact that he’s a dangerous psychopath.
Many sociopaths are born. Not made. It’s not her fault. And what treatment do you suggest? Would I have covered for my kid? Gosh I hope not. But I really can’t say. I’ve never had to make this choice.
Have you looked around and saw the mental health system in the US? They shut down all the looney bins and the streets and jails are filled with crazy people.
She could have got up to 5 years for this and they chose to only give her 30 days. That has to be a slap in the face to Tristan's family. I know that they agreed to the plea deal and didn't want to hear the details again but that judge should have at least given her a year
Mom's actions constitute aiding and abetting, being an accomplice to her son's crime of MURDER. Holy God in Heaven, how is this a 30-day jail sentence? Wondering why the State chose not to charge her with a more serious crime?
@@awaretenaciousno, dopey, it’s because she got a plea deal, and the family of the victim wanted her to get the plea deal because they didn’t want to go through another trial. America is among all democracies probably the very hardest on crime.
except he wont be in jail for the rest of his life. he got life without parole yes but its really life with parole BECAUSE hes eligible for parole after 25 years. because the system insist on taking criminals at theyre word and believes theyre lies he'll get parole.
I could be wrong, but I think that those 25 year reviews for juvenile life sentences are tougher than typical parole hearings. For example, Ethan Crumbley got the same sort of sentence for murdering several people when he shot up his high school. I don't think that Ethan will ever be released. Do you? Another such case is that of Josh Phillips who is also serving the same kind of sentence for murdering Maddie Clifton. His review has already come and gone, and the judge said no way. He will get another review, but he will be getting on in years by that time. One might argue that Josh killed only one person, and the same for Aiden. However, if you look at the details of the crimes, there are very good reasons why these youths got such extreme sentences.
Parents should be responsible for the crimes of their children already. Could you imagine how much more safe the world would be if parents actually had to take responsible actions while raising their kids.
I'm not making any excuses at all for Fucci, but what happened is that this beautiful young lady became way too naive. Her parents met the boy and were skeptical from day one and didn't trust him. They probably told her that they didn't want her dating him. Tristyn went against her parent's wishes, and sadly, she paid the ultimate price for it. Again, what Fucci did was absolutely disgusting and heinous. He deserves to severe the rest of his life behind bars, if not the death penalty. I dont want to make any excuses at all for him, but i do believe this is what happened. Could I be wrong, absolutely, but I dont think I am.
Unbelievable! I would bet that her actions illustrated what she probably did when Aiden was younger; anything to keep him from accepting responsibility and bearing the consequences of his actions. That's how you raise a psychopath.
