I just stumbled by chance on two other channels whose basic reason for existing is to bash Dellboys Garage. I thought it was a joke at first but then realised quickly it wasn't. What a peculiar situation to be in Dell, completely unprofessional as well. No creator should publicly criticise another. Any way, I enjoy your work and find your methods and general manner to be nothing but top notch and entertaining. 😊

Thanks mate, I appreciate your kind words, I guess on a public platform there will always be the toxic people who seek to suceed as scavengers, feeding off the backs of other Creators and I guess with no moral compass, or common decency, they feel no shame in being hateful and destructive... we can only leave it up to the audience to decide who the decent Creators are, the people who put time, effort and commitment in to making good honest content, in good faith. Thank you for your support.

Morning.... nice one. Thats a genius hack.. turning them round! For Giselle bike, Ive had to pop in an up and back spacer, to relieve stress on my shoulders, and it works. As well as swapping out the handlebars for something different. have a great weekend

Great video. Clear and concise as always, and a great help to others interested in upgrades. I have a street twin, and fitted the same bar risers from Tec Bike Parts. I love the bike but wanted more leg room, so I bought a Motone Custom seat to gain another 15mm or so. In turn this made the bike more uncomfortable on the wrists, so I fitted the bar risers to help. Now it's perfectly set up for me. It's amazing how a small part can make such big difference. I definitely recommend Tec Bike Parts.

Boy, those Bonnys are great looking bikes !!! And this is from a prejudiced Yank who loves the look of a Harley. 😁 I do know that HD would fire any engineer who designed a way to adjust the risers without purchasing any "Genuine HD Parts". 😂 It's nice that there are so many quality aftermarket bits for Triumphs. Thanks Del and Penny and a nice weekend to you both. ❤👍👍

You're not wrong there buddy, you would think the designers of Harley standard equipment are placed on a warning to make sure they never include too much that they know we're gonna want! Take care my friend, enjoy the sunshine and have a great weekend, D&Px

Hiya Penny and Del - a well done and informative video! I did this mod in my Bandit 1200S for the same reason and couldn't be happier. I plan to do it with my new old BMW K75S as well - parts in hand and looks like a bit more of a job as there is a dash pad with switchgear and I may need longer hoses and/or cables. I'll let you know how it goes - might be a while before I get to it. Take care, dear friends. Be well, ride safe... and have a great weekend!

I had pain in my elbows and between my shoulder blades with the stock bars on my 1300 V Star so I changed the bars to ones that gave more pullback and were also narrower and that stopped the pain on long rides. I also use the hanging tie down straps method to support the bars when I am doing front end work on the bike, taking the forks off etc.

You gotta love those free 'Flip-em-around" type free mods, even if you didn't get to use that trick this time. Sorta like the "Flip the mirrors from side to side and upside down" trick that so many Sportster guys and gals do. That's a great idea with the ratchet straps to hold everything in place. Enjoy the weekend, Db&Pp

It’s a nice hack turning then bar clamps around, but I can’t honestly ever remember anyone ever saying the bars are too close!?! And those risers, dare I say, can be had for half that price on a certain auction website (but let’s not pretend tec parts aren’t Chinese made either) before anyone kicks off! LOL Another concise vid from the man! 👍🏻

As usual, make easy what looks hard. Love the way you work! I usually never comment but you are worthy of it. Keep it on, please! If I may, I have a request: I own a Hornet 600 2007 and I am looking to change all the bearings but I have a hard time to find the parts, I am located in Italy. Do you have suggestions on where to find the parts? Thank in advance.
@Moonfleet41
@Moonfleet41 Месяц назад
Thank you very much for your kind words, we're glad to hear you enjoy what we do! I've no experience of ordering parts in Italy, but purely as a speculation, have you tried your local Honda main dealer? I assume there will be one in your area, otherwise I'm sure most online sources would ship worldwide... best of luck with it!

Hi mate, if you already have these, and still need more height, then the next step would be changing the bars and you'd need to consider the wiring and cable length! Can't be more help without seeing the bike...

@Moonfleet41 I love your videos man; I’ve learned more from these than a motorcycle maintenance nightschool course at Preston College! Just wanted to ask: I’ve got a Triumph Speed 400 (first ‘big bike’) and my left thumb has started hurting/aching. I’ve rotated the bars forward but it’s still sore. I’m 6ft and I think the bike is a bit small but I’ve just paid £5k for it so I’m keeping it! Could you recommend anything? Thanks.
@Moonfleet41
@Moonfleet41 Месяц назад
Hi mate, I think all bikes cause a little discomfort here and there, unless they are perfectly tailored for you, and no factory bike ever is... have you tried releasing the central bar clamp and rolling the bars forward a little, or back, to fine tune the position, have you got the levers in the right position so you're not lifting your fingers up to get hold of them? And I can't quite remember the design, but do they have the same bar clamps as this? Could they be spun forward for more reach? Just a few ideas!
