Triumph of Love is a song that I wrote with Jonathan Cain for our wedding on Dec. 15th last year for my beautiful wife Michaele... Happy Anniversary Michaele with all my love Then Now and Forever Love Neal xoxoxo
Best guitarist & music-maker ever. Neal, as a lifelong fan of your music, I've often envisioned you and the rest of the band playing before the throne of God in worship of Him. I'm not sure of your beliefs, and I'm not trying to foist mine on you, but as a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ it wouldn't be very caring of me to remain silent. The Lord gave you your talents and loves you deeply, but He also requires that we declare our allegiance ahead of time. I hope to see you around the throne. It just wouldn't be the same without you.
So this is the most bad-ass wedding gift, Neal you brought your beautiful bride to tears. The new era of your life with Michaele seems to have you smiling down from Mt. Olympus and delivering some of the most emotive work of your career. Man, this is a happy day for the true fans as well. You're killing it at the top of your game.
One of the nicest guitarests to ever live/Schon. 2nd to none within pauses" un-predictable within when/where neck wide the next pause will occur. Some are pull downs, some are multiple string down or up pulls, some are floyd rose combinations. Schon is so fun to view. He really can capture people.
I would name this "The Love March"...... If you need me to translate this song to word i will. LOL! The only way Neal needs to communicate! No words could've said it better!!! Cheers Neal and Lady M.
Love the hateful and mean spirited comments on here. *sarcasm* I'm glad and happy for you the both of you dude. Everyone should find a soulmate, love and to be happy and joyful. Neal you opened up part of your private and personal life to show the world an awesome music composition! Great music by the way and looking forward to Vortex. It's pathetic that there will always be haters about things that are absolutely NONE of there business! Go take your Negative energy somewhere else! Peace, Love and happiness, God bless. ✌️ 💘 💍 💑 😃 👼 😇
Neal, thats one hell of a way to impress your beautiful bride! You are one of the most talented musicians on the planet, and along with Dave Gilmour, certainly the most tasteful.
Ultimagtr650 Me too! As well as many others but these are my main three inspirations! I'm no pro, but I love music so very much! It certainly gets you through the rough patches! What's your fave Guitar?
Barbara Bowman-Fuller The best I ever played is the George Lynch model guitars. The Kamikaze model. I have three of them and they are better than any Fender or Gibson for me. Wonderful guitars. I use them mainly in my you tube videos.
Ultimagtr650 I have seen those a few times but never played one. I have and love my G&L Legacy. I am a lefty so I ordered it custom the way I wanted it. I hate that it was the last guitar that Leo Fender designed. I had a Les that I loved also. I have to check out your channel. I look forward to it! Have A Good One!
Wishing you happiness as you celebrate your special day together! Wishing you love as you look forward to many happy years ahead! Congratulations! On your Wedding Day!
Happy Birthday Neal - 61 years old 2/27/2015 and the absolute best guitar player in the business - can't wait for your new "Vortex" album to come out this year - double album at that - you just continue to amaze and your playing only gets better with time !!
It is very confusing to me why neal is not recognized more as a guitarist? Maybe because of the band journey? He is right up there with eddie van halen and other great players
Me too. He's one of the best ever. He's so good that Sammy Hagar said He wouldn't pick up his guitar when Neal was playing because he's that good. Sammy did play guitar in Van Halen though..
In the good old days when the 80s rockers were off tour, Neal Schon was a jam favorite. Guys like Edward Van Halen, Jan Hammer, and a list of bad ass guitarists got together with him. He is recognized by His peers for his ability along with his fans. Hell, I've been listening to Neal Schon since the mid seventies. One of the tastiest guitarist out there.
That's one hell of a wedding production. The white drapery with colored lights shining on them makes a sweet ambiance. Great guitar tone, the guy never missed a note... amongst the 20,000 he would play in one descending run. Awesome... my favorite guitar player... best tone, best chops, bet feel, best hair once upon a time... the coolest.
I have followed him for most of my adult life and there is no one to top him and I mean no one. He still has that little boy smile and that Neal Schon look when he is really into a song. I know it will never happen but I would just like to shake the hand plays like that. So much talent..... So much passion for what he does and how he plays. I hope he can continue on as long as he wants to play because there will always be people who want to hear him.
I have had the honor of shaking the man's hand. Saw him the following day he performed at Pechanga in CA. He was at the valet. The concert was something I will never forget. I was in the first row in front of Schon on the stage. Some of Deen Catronovo's family was behind us. (They are all great people and I wish him the best) I got the play list that was taped to the stage and Schon graciously autographed it for me and gave me a pick. I don't think I will ever have such an experience again, but it was the best concert I ever saw. Having grown up with Journey music and loving Schons' talent, who could ask for more.
Great feel, technique, tone and vibrato which is so important. Just ripping, a little Gary Moore aura to me, not that there is anything wrong with that! And yes I can play
one incredibly beautiful couple. Loved Michaele since DC , the most kind hearted woman, never says a bad thing about anyone. Neal has become a gracious man since Michaele and what a wonderful love story. I wish them well now and forever.
This is absolutely beautiful. Neal & Michaele are the most beautiful couple. They deserve all the happiness in the world. What a beautiful song. Neal Schon is my favorite Journey member and I hope to meet him someday.
