The Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club event is held over three days in early February annually at the Nug Nug Camping Reserve about 16 km from Myrtleford Nth. East Victoria. The reserve is a camping ground with powered and unpowered sites including an amenities block with drinking water, toilets and cold shower. A very shady location with a small creek running along side the campground. The licensed event is very well organised by the motorcycle club and the Rotary Club who both do an exceptional job providing food and refreshments over the weekend.
Music is provided by a live band on Friday and Saturday nights.
There is an afternoon gymkhana which is an event open to anyone who would like to enter, that you just cannot miss.
GYMKHANA EVENTS INCLUDE-
SLOWEST BIKE- the winner must be the last bike to cross the finish line, if you put your foot on the ground before crossing the finish line your out.
ROPE COURSE- tests riders skill to stay in between the rope, if you cross the rope your out.
EGG & SPOON RACE- two riders, one facing toward the rear of the bike with a spoon in your mouth balancing an egg, first across the finish line without dropping the egg wins.
SPUDS IN THE HAY- Approx. 6 bikes with two riders on each bike, 5 spuds hidden in the hay, whoever misses a spud is out spud and bike numbers reduce until the last two bikes are left. Whoever fins the spud first wins.
EGG THROWING - 8 people standing opposite each other 4 each side one meter apart. One egg per couple, each time the eggs are tossed each person steps backwards until all eggs are broken, the last couple with an unbroken egg wins.
Each of the event winners receive a trophy.
