Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE First Ride Review

Just bought one and loving it. I usually ride a DR650 but wanted something with a bit more meat on its bones to do long distances in a bit more comfort. I'm only 1.76m so its on the limit of what i can handle but sonfar so good. Just taking my first steps with ot off road, building confidence. Handles really well on dirt roads 👍

Nice review, a day doesnt go by when I dont miss mine after selling it earlier last year, green a white version with full Zard exhaust, I loved that bike and it always brought a smile to my face.

I owned the XE for about 6 months / 13.000 km. It's a wonderful bike, specially for taller riders (I'm 1,92cm). The sound is unique. Anyway I decided to change it for a Rocket 3R, which I will receive next week. When I purchased the Scrambler I was sure that I'd use it much more on dirt roads, but honestly it's way too heavy and I went for Continental Trail Attack Tires, which were a game changer on paved roads. I drove mostly in the black forest, Routes de Grande Alpes, Dolomites and it was perfect. Now I'm looking forward for new experiences with the No. 1 Power-Cruiser of Triumph.

I rode one of these a couple of years ago when my old Tiger was in for a service and loved it. Would love one as a second bike if I can convince the Mrs 😂.

Si, great review. How would this be for some 400 mile trips? Debating between this and the Tiger 900.
