Nice to see someone else who filters at a sensible speed. When you come through slowly with no obnoxious noice i have found people are happier go move out your way. Or they just have time to do so if your not flying through.

Once you start doing this, you might want to consider putting a 15 tooth sprocket on the front. Hi Richard, it’s good to see you on the 400X, it is tall in the saddle but easily doable with my 32” inseam. Had mine 6 weeks and loving it, the motor’s revvy but torquey, great down the lanes here in the south west. I have seen more Scramblers than Speeds on the road around here.

Hi Gordon, the 400x is a cracking little bike 😆. Little bike???? It's a 400cc 😆. 5 days in the running and this bike is crazy great. Tons of torque for a 400 and no need to keep it near the red line. I think you and I have made a great choice 👍

I wish you were on this side of the pond Larry. I would throw this bike over to you for a week for you to have a good play. I am sure a balanced opinion would be offered 👍. In a few weeks, one of the guys will be taking it for a week and he can offer an opinion of what this 400 is really like 👍

Morning Richard that’s a little old bike in engine size but why do they make it so tall really so is it higher than the 900scrambler if so it just doesn’t seem right but apart from that they do look a nice little bike and a great little back road scratcher for winter time be fun I reckon just the right power all you need on uk roads really have fun bye for now

Here in Spain, the twin cylinder Honda CL500 is currently €800 cheaper than the 400X due to a €1290 promo discount. I wonder if the Triumph has affected sales of the Honda🤔

I know your a bit of a Triumph fan boy Richard but i would have thought for diversity on your channel you would have gone for something else. For the money you paid i would have personally bought the new 450 Enfield Guerrilla roadster at the same price giving you a Triumph, a BSA and a Royal Enfield, a brilliant mix of bikes.

Hey Ian, I was torn between the 400X or the Benelli 702 TRK. However, not many second hand TRKs on the market at the moment so would have to wait. Can't wait for the Guerrilla to come over here. It's going to be a great seller I am sure. And the price I expect, will be very similar to the 400x.
