I’d be interested to know if you’ve still got her. It’s taken 4 years for me to decide to get one an look forward to picking it up in the next few days.
Thanks for the honest review. End of the month I will do my Full license test. There is a grey 2016 model up for sale locally. Would you recon this to be a good beginners bike? I am looking for something that will grow with me, not a 250 that in a years time doesnt please me. Did you have any difficulties with it? are they common speedmaster points I should look out for?
Dude, scary as hell watching you ride in the left lane from ovr here in america! I have 13, speedie. Same color black and blue without backrest and bags (wife has to squeeze me a bit tighter 😀
It confuses me when I watch you guy ride in the wrong side haha I no longer have the panniers or back rest I have got rid of it all and put a few mods on I recommend upgrading the rear shocks If you can the stocks are awful
Lovely bike I just brought a speed master my kuzn altered it to suit my size , I got the single saddle seat , replaced factory , not as comfort able as the factory , changed handlebars , and he put slightly smaller sprocket allow s me to keep up big bear Harley ,, 1800 Indian keeps the muscle Harley in sight
Hi, yes it has been helpful. You sound quit young, but you ride it like a cruiser should be ridden. Many people buy cruisers an they want to know how fast it goes an that's not why you get one. Like you, I don't know why they went back to a single disc on the front. I think 08 to 10 had twin discs. Plenty of test rides, but not many long term reviews on this bike. Will deffeneatly be looking for one when I get back from Spain, as I've been stuck here, since this f**kin cov id shite. Will let you know how I get on. Keep it shiny side up 👍😎
I highly recommend this bike Iove it, if you look though some of my videos I have upgraded the exhaust ect, I was 28 when I done this vid (30 now) Please do let me know how you get on and hope you find one you love
I hope you're still happy with it an glad you ain't put one of those stupid screen on it. Like the power of the 1200 but only a 12 Ltr. Fuel tank an at least 20 kg. heavier.
I still have this bike it's my pride and joy I dont have a screen for it (not really my style) I have taken the new one of a test ride it's nice but not for me I stick with my speedie
My first motorcycle is a 2010 Triumph Speedmaster and I rate it a solid 10! It does 70 mph on 5th gear all day long without stressing the engine. I've taken long winding corners on it at over 100 mph without an issue. It can do 120 mph, but the engine is happier below 115 mph. I wanted to experiment with higher speeds, so I bought a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX1000MG. The ninja can hit 140 in the blink of an eye, so it's fast, but I still find the Speedmaster more fun to ride. It also has a much better sound at speeds higher than 70 mph. Anyone looking to cruise around with a need for speed every now and then, you can't go wrong with the Speedmaster. :)
I have a 2010 Speedmaster. Too heavy, turning radius is ridiculous. Forward riding position is bad for corners and ultimately a bad idea re comfort. Good for long straight rides, but lousy, non-functioning seat for passenger. Fake Harley copy.
What a load of crap I had a 2004 speedmaster Then a2007 Harley Fatboy I went back to a2014 speedmaster it’s a lot better to ride than any Harley I have ridden
