I am just wondering how you stand legally with this modification. Do the DVLA, Insurance and police still regard this as a Triumph Spitfire?

You cannot believe that the elegant fluid lines of the Spitfire benefit in any way by the addition of the singularly ugly taillights of a period Mustang. I owned a ‘73 Spitfire (purchased new) in 1973. It was a lady’s TR6.
