Glad to see your video, missed a road trip in your Triumph Stag! I bet you and Sir Grumpy, after to tinkering about, go to the pub, which is well deserved! You have been warmer than where I am in upstate New York, having English weather lately! It is always wonderful to drop the hood on the Stag, drive to work or wherever, such a great start to the day!
Morning Thanks for commenting, really appreciated, been an unbelievable week of weather, off to work in 30mins, storms expected today so we will leave the stag at home!!!!!!! Grumpys back bit the rover's still in Scotland. He's been up there about 6 weeks so will be nice to have a good laugh and get some videos done. Thanks again for commenting - will sort the title out now, have up last night, it was 0030 and was stuck downloading and was really shattered and ready for bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i watch another stag channel and he bought his Stag from an auction, for a really over the top price in my opinion. They have had loads on trouble with it, having it painted, rotted petrol tank, car is full of bodge and filler and they have nearly spent the same as what they payed for it. I would never buy a Stag from an auction unseen. You use yours, all year round and your problems are only niggles that you would have with any car, amazing how reliable and solid your Stag is. I adore this channel and you always read the comments and react with your viewers. I wish i could afford another, owned 4 Stags in the past. Microphone sounds great by the way.
We dropped really lucky with the Stag. Bought from a dealer who was really a collector! Engine had been rebuilt some 5yrs previous but the car had only done 26 miles in the 5yrs (guy kept it in a shipping container) Think it really helps that the are never stood for long. Need to sort the gear wheel at the end of the Speedo cable (gearbox end) and a slightly sticking rear brake drum but apart from that touch wood it's running well. My Dad has been away for 6wks thus lack of videos!! He is staying with us at the moment so hopefully lots more videos this week. His car (Rover) is unfortunately still on bonny Scotland!!!!!!! Thanks again for commenting, really appreciated.
