If you want to know what a bad carb sounds like...here you go. Basically, it starts hard, will not remain running unless you keep it choked and feather the throttle.
What ended up the problem, front carb diaphragm had a hole. And both float valves were bad (carbs leaked gas all over). I replaced the needles for good measure.
