This video shows the results of my gauge illumination project. The Gopro I shot with does not seem to do as well with low light conditions, and the instruments are brighter in real life than they are in the vid.
I modified stock bulbs to be 'connector ends' to fit into the wiring harness connectors. Makes reversing the process easy, and connecting even easier. Full how-to article was in the 6-Pack magazine in the summer of 2015.
@@fullmetalx225 Late reply (notifications apparently arent working) There are much better choices today with good quality LED bulbs that are readily available from typical suppliers.
One of the most beautiful dashboards of all time. Lighting brings it to the next level. Maybe the camera angle but why is the tach lighting not as even as the Speedo?
Nice job on switching to LED's. Did you alter the bulb connectors to accept new lites or were you able to locate the 10mm LED bulbs to fit the Brit sockets?
