Hello Agadmator. Thank you for this fantastic video and also for your other previous videos. I’ve been watching your videos for the past few months and I’ve learned lots of things from your videos in this channel, especially the middle games ideas like pawn breakthroughs, majority and minority pawn structures and especially spotting weaknesses and key squares. I watched them in preparation for a tournament I just played in. It was a group/team tournament where our team used your videos to learn and practise. We actually ended up getting second place. We were only 1 point behind first and that is quite frustrating since my teammates blundered their major pieces against the winning team when we played them. Although, it was individually my best tournament as it was the first time I ever won all my games in a tournament. For that, I would like to thank you for your amazing videos and hope you gain many subscribers in the future.

Hello everyone! After captures, captures, we have king captures, queen captures, pawn captures, pawn captures, rook captures, knight captures, and it was in this position that Magnus Carlsen resigned the game. If he had tried, say king f4, we would have had bishop captures, pawn captures, knight captures, queen captures, and after captures, captures, captures, white is in a much better position. Carlsen played a very nice game, but going against Antonio Radic on the white pieces ... it's just not a position you want to be in.

Caruana needs to develop his endgame more. He had these same opportunities against Carlsen in the World Championship but he always finds a way to blunder. Not really blunders but at this level you need to find the right move to become World Champion. To his advantage, he has really mastered the theory, also why he is difficult to beat.

They fail to understand that chess is not a three ringed circus that manufactures games for their viewing pleasure. It is a highly intellectual addiction that can be tedious to watch at times and even if every player was a clone of Tal, Paul Morphy or Bobby Fischer they would still complain about something. Chess is about a variety of players personalities, playing styles, calculation skills and problem solving abilities. It is this variety of playing styles that provides the rich diversity of games. People should just watch and enjoy and enjoy the light and dark moments plus the highs and lows. If you all ate rich cake all the time you would soon get fat and bored. gregorio canepa tricky but with the help of the engine it says: ... Bxc6 b4 Bxa8 bxc3 bxc3 Qxa8 And in the end, white gains a rook and 2 pawns while black gains a bishop and knight as well as the queen being on the excellent a8-h1 diagonal slicing all the way through the board - the engine slighty favors black (-0.4) and is, like you said, probably too big of a commitment for so early in a grandmaster game.

This particular kind of insult is called a "burn" rather than a troll, since it's based on the target's actual shortcomings instead of fictitious or implied ones. Either way, it's not in very good taste, but hey, it's Carlsen after all.

As others have said, I don’t think it was very gentlemanly to tweet that to another chess player... especially after just beating him in the worlds... Agadmator, I would never tweet something like that to you, always know that! 😂

In fact, Carlsen also draws a lot, so does other top 5 players (Giri, Ding and Mamedyarov, believe it or not). Chess is a draw confirmed.

I'm 100% positive Carlsen will not draw a game where he had at least 3 winning positions.

Of course, theoretically speaking there's no reason to believe tic-tac-toe and chess differ in terms of having a dominant strategy that prevents losing. Caruana and Ding Liren are particularly familiar with this strategy.

I am not a strong chess player but even I instinctively saw NeF6 as the best continuation without knowing the outcome. For someone like Caruana this is simply not acceptable. I am really glad he did not become world champion. Caruana's name next to Bobby Fischer is simply a disgrace to Bobby Fischer's memory.
