I run 30 lbs braid and run in the shallows on Erie and still get my limits easy. Walleye don't care about the line I think them being finicky and scared of the line is a myth when it comes to trolling for them especially when the water is murky like your in. Caught 10 and 12 lbs Walleye and tons of 6 to 8 lbers last year in shallow. Was an amazing year fishing out of Port Maitland on the Canadian side of the pond. Tight lines man
Most if not all fish usually only get caught once so I don't think it makes them line shy. If a 11 inch paddle doesn't scare the Salmon away I doubt a visible line will.
You should try bleeding them and putting on ice right away less tress on fish my opinion taste better! Great video thoroughly enjoyed watching you catch some nice walleye
my black wonder bread didnt get a hit yesterday. we had sun spot, cheap sunglasses and bumble bee were our hot colors. where do you fish out of? im western basin at turtle creek.
We are terrible at succeeding to get all our fish from jigging. One jigging trip per year since 2015 and never limited purely from jigging. About 11am each year in our jigging trip, we revert to what you did to finish our limit each year.
12lb Big Game has a breaking strength of 18lb. Just sayin ✌️🎣 And if you want. Take a look at Big Water Fishing and see what Captain Ross Robertson has to say. His personality can be somewhat abrasive to some people. But he means well. In my opinion. He's the Best Walleye Fisherman Ever. Not even kidding 🤙
Ross is the best Lake Erie fisherman ever, best planner board guy ever. I don’t think he is the best overall walleye fisherman. I fished with him in April 3 years ago and limited out by or before noon everyday. The smallest fish we caught was 21” and the largest was a 30” donkey
@@randymiller5008 look at the top guys in NWT. Ross did not do very good when he fished the pro league. He’s the best on Lake Erie but is just one horse
The Reason why Ross left the Pro Circuit was because of all the Cheating... I don't blame him. Everyone knows it is going on. But still support Tournament Fishing. Personally , I don't support it in any form. And I have no desire to fish anywhere but Erie. I can't speak for Captain Ross. But I do know. Day in and Day out. He's THE MAN on our body of water 🤙🎣 I'd like to fish with him sometime. But I just can't afford it 🤗✌️
