In case you're wondering why hit to kill/dead don't have decimals anymore, it's because @TurkishD_lite pointed out to me that the headshots don't do universally (excluding stego and pachy) 1.5x anymore and that would make the hs values slightly inaccurate. Body hits would still be accurate but it would look weird if one is decimal and the other isn't
I mean it takes noticeably less time than that to hit sub and get your venom which is when troodon becomes useful, the extra adult health and bite dmg isnt going to do much. Even then the only thing one shotting you is deino/stego since you are mostly getting hit on your tail not head/body unless you fuck up. As troodon you will usually get hit on the tail/body, so it's rare to die in 1 hit if you know how to play it, as if you get hit once it's easy to run away from a fight. All this isn't to say Troodon shouldn't have a lower growth time, but it shouldnt be much lower, knock off 10 minutes and bring it down to an hour it'll be fine. The ones that really need their growth times checked are dryo and beipi.
I adore Troodon, it is very mobile, maneuverable and fast, although it is small, but it can kill easily in solo carno teno, or even steg, only time you need to spend 10-15 minutes and a lot of stamina ( I play 1800 hours and I have not played on anyone else except Troodon and Omnic and it seems to me that in the hands of a beginner he is seriously capable of a lot and I do not see the point in playing for big dinos who have Not meager stats, because everything comes easily to you for them, you can easily kill whoever you want for them
Ty dude I meant so much people asking me how does troodon work and I say go to RU-vid and there was like 1 guide when troodon came out. Also I love this little guy no one play as him any more 😢
Regarding Pro tip #2, when you say pouncing another Troodon will deal more damage to the attacker, do you mean if you accidentally pounce a Troodon that is already on the target?
If you try to cannibalize as troodon, the one who pounces takes more damage, not much but a few percent. I was supposed to get a clip for that but wasn't able to record it
