Hello everyone! My name is Max King and I am the owner of my small business Dragon King Bioactive, LLC. I started this channel to show everyone my process in making custom enclosures and learning new and better ways to care for reptiles. I AM BY NO MEANS AN EXPERT, just someone who loves reptiles and has big dreams that involve them. We also provide educational programs for kids and small groups with our animal ambassadors to help spread the love of reptiles to anyone we can. I am also a licensed therapist and my dream is to open a rehabilitation center/reptile zoo in my home town that involves helping people in recovery by rehabilitating reptiles while they heal. I have 2 at home. Found them outside and my daughter wanted to keep them. 1 was full grown and the other was a few day old hatchling. They don’t require uvb as they are night lizards. They can’t eat anything bigger than the space between their eyes. Haven’t had much luck of mine eating anything but crickets. My little one would eat fruit flies but will not anymore. They eat crickets. They do not drink out the bowl you have to spray the enclosure and they can’t be housed together. And mine won’t eat anything that isn’t alive. They do ok w or wo humidity. Or mine do. But I live in Savannah (south east Georgia) there’s very little info out there that I’ve found. I don’t sprinkle their food much before feeding them. And I leave mine on a bare paper towel as I’m not sure that substrate won’t hurt them. Good luck.

@@dragonkingbioactive7665 I’ve also had them since 2017-2018. I did loose the first baby that we originally found with the adult gecko. But I came home one day and found him w a spine that looked like it had left turn in it. But he could walk still and I just didn’t know enough about them. What I did to “help” him I believe killed him but again I didn’t know. I housed them together for almost 2 years before this. But after he got injured the big one started attacking him. So I moved him to another enclosure. But a few days later he died. I found the day or 2 old hatchling in the house a few days later. I now know he had MBD (that’s the problem with taking in animals {esp reptiles fish or birds} that you don’t know anything about- if you truly love an animal- do your research before owning one. What I in my lack of knowledge was cruel- even tho I didn’t know better. Do your research) I’ve had the adult since day 1. Almost 5 years. He/she is doing great!!! But hides all day and plays when we are asleep. The other one has so much personality. He comes to say hello when I come home and hes out to get sprayed most the time….. I do not handle them as they are fast a $**t. I do put a uvb light on every so often and I do dust their food a couple times a month…. They aren’t housed together but are next to each other….
