Thanks chuck and Paige for the Koh Chang series. A lot of work gone into that and it's much appreciated. It's been 11 long years since I have been there and I hardly recognise the place now!!!! Stuck here in the North West of England whilst my Thai wife earns her crust in Sweden. At least you two have each other which is great. Thanks Again.
Doesn't get any better than eating dinner on the beach with beer watching the sun go down. Keep up your positive outlook and all the best for your trip back home. Bangkok is shutting down so you are right all the people out of work are heading home to your area.
Life is a journey with it,s ups and downs curves, pot holes etc. Just take one day at a time. When tomorrow comes, deal with that day. Do what you're doing now, and enjoy. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Cool videos, keep them coming Chuck and Paige......can't wait to see the journey back to your home. So, our island life is over, sad, but here we gooooo.
Oh Chuck, when we can get back to Thailand, when everything has calmed down, I am definitely going to visit where you are now. How beautiful. Love seeing the background as you and Paige are walking home after breadfast. Loving your videos, and I agree with your thoughts on heading home, simply because if you leave it too much later, you mightn't be able to get back home for a long while.
Chuck and Paige: I saw your comment about your worries about your physical safety. This is reasonable, but I'd suggest that the majority of Thai people in your home town know you and would not allow you to come to harm. You have been generous, and kind. Obviously, being invisible right now is the best strategy, as there are a few people to be avoided. You have an extended family, so you have the best insurance policy you can have in Thailand. I wish you guys all the best, and try not to worry.
Hi Chuck and Page thanks for posting another great video!! I’m trying to stay out of the tv because is making me depressed!! Here in USA is crazy!! My son is in South Korea he is the Marines and believe or not things are better there than here.. your videos make me calm while waiting for my son and copying with what is going on in the world !🙏
God speed you home to safety. I wish only the best of all things for you and Paige. I know you will bring me back to this paradise later after the madness has passed over. We all must be patient ♥️
This is the first video that I have seen of you with a tone of resignation in your voice. I am with you. This will all blow over. I was supposed to be flying over in less than a week. My wife is already over there. I cancelled and am on the front lines of a large international airport working to ensure that our passengers and staff are safe. I was one of those who feels that it is my own problem if I catch it. Then, I stopped to think about all of the vulnerable people I am in contact with and I would never be able to forgive myself if i was responsible for passing it on to one of them.
I think people are jealous stuck in their rooms, cabins or houses where you have a whole island almost to your self what a better place to be quarantined at and enjoy it because everyday there are changes. Some people reminds me of an old saying "Misery loves company" so if they can't have fun no one can.
I like you guys!! and I agree with you, we live in a society and we are supposed to be civilized and behave li such! Thank you for sharing your videos that are such big help for me,.Im 69 and still hibernating here in Chicago! Thank you again! Frank. Stay safe!!
Have a good trip back home, here in Mae Taeng things are quiet but smoky. Thanks for the sunset pictures we also had a nice one. As I know you will keep the faith.
Dear Chuck thanks for sharing. You and Paige are luckiest people in the world. You have each other and be in paradise. Many blessings to you guys. Be safe. Look at Italy Spain and NY so it must be serious. I don't know what it means but 3 big phone companies in China reported that they has closed 23 million accounts in the last 3 months.
You bought a fishing pole!!!!!!!!! I was beginning to think there was something seriously wrong with you. Page has a great sense of humor I’m just starting to pick up on. She’s really funny. I love the way she teases you. Sorry to hear your headed home. Be safe be happy Aloha from Hawaii to you both. Hold one another high. Chuck from Hawaii
Keep safe, enjoying your vlogs, just doing a block thumbs up because just to cope with lock down, watching on the large screen, and hoping all your subscribers are well.
hi chuck and paige. don't worry about all the negativity it;s better to still have a positive aproach on the situation. in a tropical country your still better off now because the virus is less afective in warm wether.since monday the death count in thailand is 4 and the airport is locked till end of aprill. i hope all is good with maffia at home. take care and hope you all will be safe
I sold my home in Cypress TX. and was supposed to be home in Bueng Kan on Wednesday........Then the borders closed. Now thinking about a few months in S Korea with my Son. Stay safe and healthy.
We will have to wait until this crisis is over , normaly i would have travelled to Thailand today to my wife . But i will stay in Abu Dhabi and work a few weeks more untill normal life gets going again. Stay safe and i hope to meet you in a worry and virus free Thailand at the end of the year. Greatings from the dessert in Abu Dhabi.
Yeah, in your shoes and the current state of things here in Thailand (emergency decree as I write this) I would head home. Not because of virus risk but because of Insanity risk, complicated travel across provinces, etc.
Thank for the very welcome escapism. Here in the Isle of Man we've closed all borders to everyone, even if they live here. No entry at all. Hope it doesn't get too mad for you.
Chuck, I'm with you on everything 100%. Please keep doing what you do. It helps me a lot knowing I'm not the only rational person in Thailand. My Thai wife is reacting to fear, waisting money on Covid-19 insurance scam... Try to teach people that reacting to fear and other emotions is a mental illness. It is like talking to a drunk person. LOL. Anyway, take care. For every video I owe you another beer. We'll meet up soon.
Im totally with ya on the ones that get all negative and freak out and all that. My usual saying to that is "dont get butthurt" Yall are doin great, and have a GREAT life there, doing what you want and living the dream.
Hey Chuck&Paige, aloha from Hawaii. That " what is that kind of tree with the fruit on it?" @ 20:38, is a Breadfruit tree or Ulu in Hawaiian. And yes, the fruit is edible and is very good, like when boiling or baking it like potatoes. Be safe and God bless.
I think you are beginning to realise what this epidemic is all about ,am happy you enjoyed you self, be watching you on the way home.good luck stay well
Two aliens are hovering over earth in 2050, the little alien says "what happened to Earth's population?" The bigger one said "in 2020 they had a toilet paper epidemic, and WIPED themselves out"...lol
Here in Brisbane,Australia, fear pervades the city. The central city is very quiet, tourist areas close to the Brisbane River are almost deserted with, like you, restaurants and cafes limited to take-away, cinemas, massage parlours, nail shops and concert halls closed by order of the authorities. Large segments of the tourism, hospitality and international education industries are on their knees. Only citizens, prs, spouses and immediate family members can enter Australia currently. Hundreds of Australians are stranded in many countries around the world. Wish you and your wife the best!
Wow big catch of the day haha. Hmmm that don't look like a hamburger??????? Still about 4 days behind on watching here and I know things will have changed a lot there. Yes life goes on and there will always be awesome sunsets. Pizza looks good. Stay safe and stay healthy Chuck and Paige
Was due to be in Thailand on the 10th April... all the restriction from Thai Immigration had already made it virtually impossible, but just got confirmation that Thai Airways have cancelled both my flights... hoping to reschedule for November and hope all this is all over by then. Keep up the good work buddy!
So glad to see you look very much less stressed by the end of the video. Seems like the perfect time to adapt the Thai attitude about life. Be well, travel safe and stay in the moment. This will sound weird but take a page out of Paige's book and just smile. Life will move on so just enjoy the ride with the woman you love.
Hey Guys before you leave no to the Burger Station or the Burger lady as I call her. Great burgers and a really nice lady. She also does takeaway. She has packed us many burgers over the years for the trip back to Bangkok
Your videos are so completely wonderful. Makes me very sad though to see all the meat, eggs, and dairy you eat, not to mention the fishing! :( But hope all is well back in That Phanom.
Sorry your vacation got cut short, probably doing your 2 week quarantine as I’m watching this, thanks for sharing your experiences and view points at the time. Growing up we fed everything to the dogs and cats and some of the western reservation dogs are (when I was there) much like the dogs in Thailand except in Thailand they are not as likely to get eaten 😁 I never say anything to people feeding cooked bones to dogs when I’m traveling it’s pointless because it’s part of the lifestyle, but it effects all dogs the same they just don’t get taken to the vet when they are 💩 blood, our dogs got a bullet or just died when I was a kid, just my 2 satang worth. Hope all is well with you, Paige and family 🙏 Cheers 🍻
In WV Things are coping well ,,I stocked up on food ,,NO TP I have 8 rolls and I know the Thai style bucket and bowl trick,, Oh yea I bought 60 cans of Emergency drinking beer ! Randy + Boom ,, Say safe You two !
The virus is not spreading. PEOPLE are spreading the virus and things will ramp up rapidly. By not staying away from other people is putting pressure on the health system and the people you expect to take care of you or family members if you get ill.
