Tropical Storm Ian to intensify as it tracks toward Florida

All eyes are on Tropical Storm Ian that could impact the state of Florida next week. FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku says Ian is battling a lot of wind shear and appears to be lopsided, which makes it tough to identify a center of circulation. However, Sadkiu says Ian is going to rapidly intensify as it passes just south of Jamaica and could become a hurricane by Sunday. Florida is within Tropical Storm Ian’s cone of uncertainty, and though it is too early to talk specifics, Sadiku says it is important to get prepared now.

Wait! I am in Puerto Rico, Christians called Fiona as Irma and Maria punishment for our sins. Are Floridians sinners? I have family and friends in Florida, some religious, some not. @@c.l.9344 I'm in Palm Beach county so I'm not from that area but our weather meteorologists suck. For the past week and a half they've been forecasting torrential downpours. It's rained a little, definitely not torrential. I judge meteorologist based on their accuracy. I don't care how nice they are or how well they explain things. I also screenshot each day and compare it at the end of the day to how it actually was.

What do you mean? It's still moving on a westernly track. I live in Palm Beach county, not Tampa so I can't really speak for your weather area but over the past week and a half ours have been predicting torrential downpours all day long. There's been some rain but definitely not torrential downpours. Meteorologists unfortunately are not known for their accuracy. This isn't back to the Future 2 lol.

Hurricane season. It happens also in my country Philippines. The Hurricane hit in Manila regions. God is the only one can control. Hope no one got hurt of this Hurricane. Last year it's hit of my home town in Cebu Philippines. Lots of people lost their houses one is my family too. Thank God no one lost their life.
