I FOUND MYSELF IN TROUBLE IN BAGUIO CITY... I ACCIDENTLY BROKE A LAW!
On this day, I adventure across the Halsema Highway, one of the highest and most intense highways to drive here in the Philippines. It was quite a motor, passing across mountain ridges, through thick fog, and getting hammered by rain. It was cold... but that should be expected when you are driving to Baguio. It is the coldest city in the Philippines, and one that is found in the mountains.
In this BecomingFilipino motor vlog adventure... we experience driving. But then we also experience what can get you into trouble in Baguio. Driving a motor on Sessions Road. I had no clue! I ended up breaking the law and having to pay for it. But all was good.

The mountain ranges, the rain, the fog trigger nostalgic feelings growing up in the City of Baguio with my dear loving parents and siblings. I also remember my friends and classmates from SLU.. Very few vloggers now showcase this city and the Mountain Province and so I am grateful that you have done it. Keep safe.

Hi Kulas. Just a suggestion. You might wanna put the broom inside a plastic bag to protect and prevent the broom whisks from getting wet and/or breaking. Or else, you will have just “half a broom” when you get to Cateel. LoL

The feeling of Nostalgia seeing Baguio and La trinidad. Since I lived in La Trinidad for almost 12 years. I really love the environment, the weather. I just feel so sad about Balili River because it's just already in the stories from older people where they say they used to swim and washed their clothes there, but now you can't coz it's really dirty. I hope there will also be a general rehabilitation on that river. Next time you come back hopefully, in benguet try to visit Kabayan, Benguet. It is where you can see Kabayan mummies. Mummification is one of the old practices of Igorots particularly in Kabayan.. also Opdas Cave, bulalakao lake.. the beautiful falls in Kibungan, Benguet, Mt. Kabuyao in Baguio where you can see the radar. many places to visit in Benguet..

They must have a sign posted before you enter Session road that no motorbikes allowed entry. There are many visitors and tourists in Baguio so they should have signages about city ordinances.

Becoming Filipino, Thanks for showing us the beauty of Northern Luzon particularly the Cordillera Regioh. All your Northern Luzon Vlogs are greatly appreciated. If in Baguio, Try to stay in Supreme Hotel, old bldg Rate is only P2,500 on holidays lower on ordinary days, with free breakfast. Thier beef tapas is delicious. New Bldg opposite, Rate is P3,500/day. It is there where we stayed year ago, near Valley of Colors Village.
