Excellent video, sir. I need all the help I can get when it comes to finding ground faults. Worked on a panel today that had two GFs on NACs. I haaate searching for GFs. Thanks.

Thank you. Ground faults are kind of fun. I use them to troubleshoot or find wire in field when you can't use a toner...😀

This is why you should NEVER used the aux power off the main fire panel for none primary fire alarm devices other then four wire fire devices that need separate power like duct detectors. Door holders should have there own power supply that can be supervised by the fire panel. But nice work ....

different cities, different nfpa years. i just updated some door holders running from 24V amp power from a job that was done only 5 years previous.

Hello, I’m working on a Silent Knight 5104B. The Bank manager reports their annunciator was beeping all day Saturday since opening at 9am. It was raining and they were unable to silence it at the lobby annunciator. I showed up on Monday morning,, monitoring station says there was a ground fault and low battery trouble on Saturday, but panel was clear when I arrived. How do you find the source of a ground fault that occurred a couple days earlier but isn’t active when you are onsite?
