Finally got it up and running. The only delays we had was because we realized we needed some extra parts (I’ll list that below) ru-vid.comUgkxihMYiJNXcHdbH-7ihymsLz61l7jVyb5O . So we have a loft where our current hvac just couldn’t seem to keep cool during the summer. We have been using a window unit since we bought this house over 6 years ago (all the houses in this neighborhood were built in the 80’s and majority of the houses built like ours use a window unit). I hate window units because they are just so noisy and the one we had really only cools one side of the loft. I had contemplated upgrading our current HVAC, but with all the rising prices these days, it would take years before saving up enough to do that. With the advice of my father-in-law (used to run an HVAC business), he recommended we get an inverter instead. We thought we bought everything we needed, but there were just a few other parts we didn’t anticipate needing (which is what caused most of our delay). My friend and father-in-law did all the work to get it installed and running and now we have nice cool air circulating nicely throughout the entire loft. It is very quiet and even the outside unit is much quieter than our main HVAC unit. Saved ourselves thousands getting this.
I actually had an “A/C specialist” take a look at my system and he literally spend days trying to fix my system with no luck. Thanks to this video I was able to find the problem! The unit kept displaying E1 and it turned out the power wires were reversed. Problem solved in about 5 minutes! Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have an intertek unit. Been installed for couple years & has been fine. We get a big rain & now I get this error code. If this just occurred for the first time… wouldn’t the wiring already be right? And it’s the storm that somehow messed with it? It’s the only appliance that was affected.

in that case there is module inside the inside unit the one where the wires connect to, its about 85$ here in canada but you get that from goodman company if your unit is a goodman hope that helps

Hi. Bless you !!! I have one question. One mini split Frigidaire have E1 code. When i see the control board i note a little burn mark over it. I dont note any component burn . How i can verify if is the control board the problem ???
Hi Jose, I cannot speak with certainty about Frigidaire units, but have you experienced any storms lately? Is there a surge protector on the unit? E1 normally means there is a communication fault between outdoor to indoor units, and if there is a burn mark on the board, it more than likely means the outdoor board has been shorted, or a possible blown capacitor. Especially if it did storm before giving the E1 with no surge on the disconnect box.

What if my AC has been working for a while before and now it has E1 error after maybe 2-5 minutes of it running. For example, whenever i turn on my AC for 5 minutes it shut off and turn to E1 error. I cleaned the filter. It was working before so the wire must at the right spot. :(

@@randynBroncos it happed to me twice Once was the communication wires Second goodman told me to change the module in the inside unit if that didn’t help The module or the board in the outside unit Fortunately worked with the module in the inside unit
