Hello mate Just a quick one To change the main unit, is it straight forward? Do you need to run again the cables or you can just unplug all the sensors and connect them to the new unit?
Hello! Depends a lot on who installed it and where. In theory it should be quite easy, as everything has connectors, so it's just plug and play when replacing with the same model.
4:29 Does the display have a voltage when the car is turned off ? I need to cut the display cable and take the display outside inorder to check it and see if I can repair it ? I wonder if I should disconnect the car battery or not in order to cut the display cable ? Thanks for the video.
I don't think it has a voltage. Usually the sensors get the power from the reverse bulb. So they only have power while reversing. But don't know if this applies to absolutely all models.
@@UltimateDIY is it normal for mine (made by Dunlop) to not show anything on screen when i put in reverse? I recently bought them and after installing it the screen doesn't turn on.... can it be because i connected the sensor black wire (ground/negative) to the negative of the light bulb)
Hi, I have a same problem. The display was working properly aprox. 2 months and now the numbers and the graphic is bad. Do you have the link of display where you bought replacement? I tried to buy replecement on the net and aliexpres but haven't find it.
