Troubleshooting no Spark after New Ignition Switch on a Honda CBR 

That is a zenor diode. It's Hondas way to prevent a hotwired theft however those diodes are very fragile. Thanks for the video!

What if you’re having this same issue with a toggle switch? How do you get power to the pink wire then?

Did your fuel pump prime and just not get spark? Or was it a no spark but it primes before you fixed the ignition?

Hey brother man. I tried your repair last night with swapping out the electrical portions of the old and new switches, and the bike started up great! Come to try again this morning, and although theres power and the fuel pump engages, it only cranks but wont turn over. And the cranking sounds like its dying. Thought?

got a ?? i see you can buy diode also can you put a diode on a new switch by soldering one on to it ?? i see on ebay they have diode's for sale like $25 for 3

I Just Got cbf600 with weak spark. I find out there is the same ignition barrel but someone linked pink to 12v. I manage to get bike going after carb cleaning and new spark plugs. But not won't run properly . What that's could potentially cause. CDI issue?

is this diode could be a problem if one of the two ignition coils dont have a 8v on wire?

I have this issue at the moment! My bike was stolen so I had to replace the ignition where they had broken the key off inside and I bought the one off of eBay which came with the gas tank lock and all it's exactly the same blue one as you have on your bike. I noticed that the plugins was different so I did as you did and change the wiring harness from the old one to the new one and it ran fine for about a week but then all of a sudden it just quit starting! When I turn the key over my - lights come on but it will not crank I tried to replace the starter solenoid but no luck still any suggestions
