"Too small to keep" 82 now and I look back on a lifetime of trout fishing. Released anything bigger than 13 inches and ate the better eating 6 to 13 inch fish. Biggest Brown in my life was a 27 incher. Love your vids but we really differ on what size trout is good to eat. Wow, I had to edit my post after seeing you skin that fish. Please don't skin your trout if you are going to fry it. The skin is awesome. Also leave the head on and take out the gills along with the guts. When the fish is done and the skin is crisp grab the head and pull it down the opening and the back bone and ribs will come right out.

Magnificent video of the falls. That is one of my favorite places. The best way to fish that stream (obviously not this time of year) is to stay in the creek all of the way and do it as the sun is going down. There are (or were) a lot of beaver dams and the water was very deep in places so you have to be careful not to go in over your head. In the summer when it is very hot and the water is very cold , you can just get a nice lawn chair and sit in it for hours with the water being up to your neck. Man, it feels great.

Yes, nice Brownie you got when camera died. Yes! You got yourself a honey hole. Looks like one of the places I used to fly fish in Az. I'd only catch & release, just for the Sport.. I bet they were delicious. Another place I used to go in Az on a Mountain we had by the College I attended, But I think in 2018? Our mountain caught fire from lightning strike. SOOO many deer, bear mountain lion were forced off the mountain down into the desert.. So errie at night, looked like the mountain was alive w dancing lights, which were the flames. We had quite a few Smoke Jumpers in our town. Talk about straight out badasses.. Many were from the Reservation, out of school and became Smoke Jumpers or worked for the Mine in Morenci.
